ETS2 and ETS2MP Both not working for me

Hello, I hope this is in the right section and I hope someone can help me.

 

I am having trouble loading a game on both ETS2 and ETS2MP. The game starts as normal but wont let me past the profile page on single player and wont let me past the ETS2MP login page on multiplayer. 

 

The game was working perfectly yesterday and I have tried reinstalling both ETS2 off Steam and ETS2MP.

 

I dont know what to try and any help would be greatly appreciated.

No I removed them all when installing ETS2MP about a week ago.

Have you tried another profile? Here's what you can do:

 

Create a new profile in singleplayer mode and try playing. Make sure after you've finished the tutorial to buy a truck before playing Multiplayer, otherwise you'll get other problems.

Check this thread to setup the ETS2MP Beginner Save File.

^ If you fail to get that far try checking your game files via steam:

 

right click Euro Truck Sim 2, click Properties. Go to Local Files and click Verify (bottom button), It will check the main system files.

 

If you get the new profile to work then your last game save is prob corrupted.

 

If you want to continue with your old profile simply go to C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles

go to the second folder (or the one that was last modified before the current time, current time modified one is the demo)

go into save folder and you will see a list of folders. Move  the most recent one to a new folder (which is prob a autosave)

reload game and see if your profile now works.
