I can't launch ETS

if i launch ets mp he says 'to play ets2mp you need to have ets 1.19.2.1s (steam release)! so i have looked on forums and try everything what they says and it still not working can anybody help me so i can play ets mp

Please uninstall ETS2 and ETS2MP. Then install ETS2, then ETS2MP.
