Here it goes Convoy+ Info: Convoy+ is basically, adding a more fun/economic experience to being in a Convoy. Such as, an Option to Start A Convoy with a Particular Player, then having a Tab for the Convoy where you can Edit your Convoy Name, and it would appear on the left side of Your Overhead Name| example: [CONVOY NAME] PLAYER NAME| Which is also customizable by color. This Tab, has control of the full convoy, such as: -The Option To Close / Open The Convoy -The Option To Invite Members / Remove Members -The Option To Set A Location For All The Players In The Convoy To Go To (The Waypoint Would Appear On Their Map) For A Meet Up Or For A Job. Etc -The Option To Promote A Player In The Convoy. As A Leader, Or Such In The Convoy. -The Option To Talk To Players Specifically In That Convoy (Type / Mic [Mic Is A Probably Not Gonna Happen]) -MoreOptionsComingSoon- Next is that, convoy's with Trucks that have Trailers (Or is carrying/bringing Trailers) Get more/increased XP/Money when arrived at the destination, because of the Convoy. Understand? So Basically, the convoy adds more money and experience to the Earnings of the Trucks in that Particular convoy when arrived at its destination to drop its Trailer. The More Trucks, the more money. Example: 2 Trucks= 2% Increase. 3 Trucks= 3% Increase (This Could Be Changed By Adding A 10% (30% instead of 3%) Its Your choice which one) That's It For That. Convoy+ List 1. Option To Start A Convoy w/ Convoy Name (Color able) At the Side of the Name of a Player in that Convoy. 2. Increased Experience and Money for Trucks Hauling Trailers once reached destination to drop its Trailer. Info In The Info Section Up There. That's Basically It For Now. It's a pretty Simple Addon. Glaiceana Posted May 16, 2015 Share Posted May 16, 2015 That's some very good ideas there! I find theres often problems with losing people in the convoy and communication errors. So along with the mic idea, maybe a notification one? Not everyone has mics, so maybe theres an option to broadcast a text message to the convoy members, such as "Stopping at next fuel station", or "Some members at (town name) to repair", or even simple ones like "wait", "slow down". Gorkal1ty Posted May 22, 2015 Share Posted May 22, 2015 It´s a great suggestion all itself, but I think it should wait for the economic system to be developed. I just see the economy system as a priority to make real xp, progression, etc. make the gameplay more real and fair, to then let other gameplay stuff as convoys. Guest Posted August 2, 2017 Share Posted August 2, 2017 This cannot be implemented since convoys are not related to TruckersMP by any means. They can be created on external websites such as ets2c.com. The only part where TruckersMP plays a role is when the convoy is held as the Multiplayer offers the opportunity to play together. However, adding benefits for certain players who participate in a convoy cannot be done since it would require a global economic system which is currently not released, hence why TruckersMP cannot distinguish between the people and thus cannot add benefits. Also, keep in mind that driving in a convoy is nothing else than having a few truck driving behind each other so this cannot be deemed as something special since it does happen every day. Rejected.
