TTV TMP_Malinois Posted June 23, 2024 Report Posted June 23, 2024 Name of suggestion: The appearance of statistics Suggestion Description: Everyone knows adminview, the tool that allows staff to quickly sanction players. Currently, this system offers KICK, TPR, TPRK and BAN options. We propose to add a new tab called Stats, allowing the staff to consult the player’s statistics before making a sanction decision. Why should it be added: We propose to add a simple statistics system to the adminview staff, where player statistics are displayed in chat when the staff selects a player before proceeding with a sanction such as a kick, ban or TPR. This system would allow the staff to consult the former sanctions of the player, for example if he was kicked 2 days ago for dangerous driving. If the player repeats the same infraction, a new penalty may be applied. However, if the same offence was committed on the same day and the player has already been notified, a higher penalty is justified. The goal is to avoid directly punishing players with a ban for minor errors. For example, I often saw bans for passing during a traffic jam. These offences, while reprehensible, generally affect no one directly. Impatient players who double without causing a serious collision should receive a warning rather than an immediate ban. Currently, sanctions have become more severe than before, from 2-3 days for a first ban to a week or even 12 days depending on the situation. The idea is to focus on prevention to reduce excessive bans. I am open to debate to discuss this system and find a compromise. Here are two examples to illustrate this system: Name: TTV TMP_Malinois TMPID: 2319465 Last Ban: 16 Apr 2024 for Collisions, Reckless Driving Last Kick: 02 Feb 2024 for Inappropriate Overtaking Last TPRK: 22 Feb 2024 for Blocking Last TPR: 18 Oct 2018 for Reckless Driving --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: TTV TMP_Malinois TMPID: 2319465 Last Ban: 16 Apr 2024 for Collisions, Reckless Driving Last Kick: 02 Feb 2024 18:37 UTC for Inappropriate Overtaking 02 Feb 2024 19:02 UTC for Reckless Driving, Inappropriate Overtaking Last TPRK: 22 Feb 2024 for Blocking Last TPR: 18 Oct 2018 for Reckless Driving In example 2, we see that the player was kicked twice in the same day for different reasons. If he repeats a similar offence, a ban is justified. However, as in example 1, if the date of the day is June 23, 2024 and there was no kick that day, a prevention by a kick is preferable to a ban, thus reducing the workload for the staff while being more lenient for the player. It is comparable to receiving a fine rather than a prison sentence. Staff will need to quickly assess the situation and consult with the chat to make the appropriate decision. As mentioned, I am open to discussing this system and I look forward to hearing from others.
'Ørblớrus Posted June 23, 2024 Report Posted June 23, 2024 Hrllo , I find that the suggestion proposed can improve the players , as well as the sanctions of the staff , the history can have a positive effect in knowing when the kicks of the players or the bans of the players date +1
Community Manager Rider. Posted June 25, 2024 Community Manager Report Posted June 25, 2024 Hello, Unfortunately, we will not be adding this. You don't need to know why a player was kicked or when their last kick/TPRK was. The reason we add in that one sentence of User has been kicked is because you are not entitled to know why they got kicked or when their last kick was. It's to keep the privacy of that player, as GM+ don't need those stats either to view as kicks do not affect how we moderate someone due to our internal procedures and rules we follow. Therefore, this suggestion will be rejected. Nonetheless, thank you for creating this suggestion! Regards, Rider.
