Is there ever going to exist an economy where everyone have to actually make money and have contracts? moving from cities to multiple countries delieveries etc?

An economy system is, together with AI traffic, one of the major systems that we hope to bring to TruckersMP in the future. How this will exactly work, is something that is yet to be discussed.
