MartinV90 Posted February 20 Share Posted February 20 Suggestion Name: C-D Truck Layby Suggestion Description: if there is one thing, I think the CD road is lacking, it’s safe places to pull in especially considering most of the route does not have a hard shoulder. It’s okay, having grass verges with no barriers, but most of the time they are uneven And you get stuck. My suggestion is to add more Truck Laybys so if people want/need to pull over on C-D, they can do it safely! Any example images: see Below Why it should be added: it would give a safe place for drivers to pull in when needed, instead of being enforced to pull onto uneven grass verges. These types of Laybys as seen in the photo are very common around the world. I suggest creating a couple with a length/capacity to fit 10 trucks. However, a lot of the community is against something like this because it would go against their idea of a perfect C-D. We do not want to interfere with our community's wishes by making even more changes to the road, therefore our only changes that will be done in the future to the road will more than likely be QoL changes, nothing that breaks the "immersion" of the road.
