California Right To be Forgotten Request

Hello, if I submit a right to be forgotten request to truckers MP what information would they remove? Will they unlink my steam account so I can create another account and ban evade?

TruckersMP is based in Poland thus is dictated by EU rules and GDPR regulations.

 

There is an option on the TruckersMP website under 'Settings' which allows you to delete your account to comply with those regulations.

 

Bans are linked to your Steam ID which is public information and when creating a new account after deleting your previous, they will still be reinstated

Simply put: No, they wouldn't remove bans and they don't collect any of the information those laws are intended to protect.

None of the current privacy laws across the few US states that do have them would allow you to specifically delete information such as bans.

The information these laws are intended to protect are private information such as name and address, neither of which are collected by TruckersMP.

 

For further advice on the laws and you would probably be better off speaking with a lawyer/attorney for the specifics.
