How to ask for support

Hello,

If you have a question related to TruckersMP or if you have a problem with the modification, you may need to ask the community or support team for support to help you. This guide will tell you about all the places you can ask for support and the best way to ask.

 

Where should you ask for help?

If you have any questions about TruckersMP or trouble with the modification, you can ask about it in the help section on the forums or the #Support channel on the official Discord server. You can also create a ticket at the support page on the website.

If you have questions or issues regarding your account or anything involving private information (Email, passwords or real life information) you should not post it on the forums or Discord and make a support ticket instead.

 

 

Best way to ask for help

First of all, check if your question is not answered already in the knowledge base. This is a part of the website where some of the more common questions are answered already. It can be found here: Knowledge base

 

The best thing you can do to get the best help is give as many details as possible about your problem in your post. If you just write “Please help, I cannot register” it is very difficult to help you, because there are many reasons why this may happen, and more details are needed.

Instead, try following this format:

Short description: “A short description of your problem, with the steps you took to get there.”

 

Image of the problem: Images are a great way to show a problem and may greatly increase your chance of getting the problem fixed.

 

Other information: Could be a link to your Steam profile or a crash log. Anything related to your problem should also be in your post.

 

This gives users a lot of useful information which they can use to give you the best help they can.

If you have already taken any steps to try and solve the issue, make sure to mention that in your post as well. This way, you can prevent people from posting solutions which did not work for you.

Other useful information

If you believe you have been wrongfully banned, you can create a ban appeal at the Appeal system

If you wish to file a complaint or ask a question related to a ban, report or appeal you can create a feedback ticket at the Feedback system
