promods server not working

So i wanted to play on ProMods Server but it say i don't have one or more files but on singleplayer it works fine and when i was using the test files it saying i have all files and errors. And also i'm using the -homedir command.

First of all, welcome at TruckersMP Forums (Help Section), here I always try to do my best for all who need some help as you are looking for.

Follow this guide to install Promods properly (you can skip the mod manager load order):  https://promods.net/viewtopic.php?t=3852

To see if all your files are properly installed use this Promods Testing -- > https://www.promods.net/getdl.php?dlfile=pm251/promods-v251-test.rar

 

Keep in mind you need these DLC's for running ProMods (EAST, NORTH, FRANCE, ITALY, BALTIC, BLACK SEA)

 

Also please don't forget to remove all the outdated files.

Ok so i found the problem because i have promods on the folder on the other disk and when i moving the promods files to the ETS2 folder located in documents the server works so i can change the mods folder location for TruckersMP from documents in c disk to the other folder on the other disc?

No, you should not change the mod folder location for TruckersMP. This could cause more issues.

 

If I understand you correctly, you have moved the ProMods files into your ETS2 mods folder. This is the right thing to do and you can now play on the ProMods server.

You won't see ProMods in your mod manager when you're in TruckersMP. This is normal, since TruckersMP uses it's own mod folder.

The mod folder location for TruckersMP cannot be changed.

This should not be an problem, since it's not needed here.

 

All the installed ProMods files should be in the '\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod' folder. After this, the server should work.

 

 

The TruckersMP mod folder is located at '\Users\$YourName\Documents\ETS2MP'. If there is no mod folder, you can create one yourself. But again, this folder is not needed to install ProMods and the mod will not work if it is placed in here.
