Why record our Gameplay if you just Time Out our Reports and Force us to submit evidence online?

BrxyDnn

Question

Whenever you report someone, there is red text that says "Your gameplay will be recorded" whenever you submit your report. So why is it instead of reviewing the footage, mods time it out and force us to submit evidence online? By the time they time out the report I have already forgotten the users ID & Name. And by that logic if someone hits me, they can just Alt-F4 before I even see anything. I need answers!!!

Hey there! I would like to start by saying that we try to look at all in-game reports, but that is not possible. Since February 20th (which is the last time the server restarted) there have been over 4000 in-game reports submitted on Simulation 1 alone.

The server can store up to 100 reports at a time; I presume due to memory limits. Once it reaches 100 reports it deletes the oldest report and tells the reporter to submit a report on our website. We are not timing out the reports, it is done automatically. Due to the amount of reports submitted and the report capacity, it is not possible to review all in-game reports.

When you submit a report on our website you need to upload evidence. That evidence needs to show their name and preferably their TruckersMP ID, so if you have evidence you have everything you need to report the player on our website.

I hope this helps!
