Hogwarts Legacy

Hey everyone,

 

Just wondering what your thoughts are on the new Hogwarts Legacy that has been released. I had ordered it from amazon but they have lost it so I have to wait for them to investigate.

 

I hope it is worth the wait.

I have seen a lot of vids of it and i really dont like it. But that might be. opionions are opinions

Personally it wasn't for me.

 

Now I might be biased, considering I haven't read/watched a single Harry Potter related thing in my life, but as a neutral gamer the game is pretty disappointing. The open world aspect is very empty in my opinion, other than the forbidden forest the game really doesn't push the player much to explore anything else as it's too far away from all the main things unless you really want to explore but it's not rewarding. 

 

As far as the story goes, I kind of forgot what the whole story was about halfway through and then remembered when it came to the final mission.

 

They force you to do side quests, which is just a massive red flag in itself.

 

Optimisation is pretty poor on PC.

 

Personally, I wouldn't recommend it if you're not a die hard Harry Potter fan but that's just my opinion. Loads of people think every bad thing I mentioned is good so yeah.
