Hello there!
 

For getting an idea of what could cause this problem, I would like you to send me the following:


• Your last "game.log.txt" file (right after the game crashed) --> C:\Users\%Username%\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2 or C:\Users\%Username%\Documents\American Truck Simulator
• Your "last_crash.log" file--> C:\Users\%Username%\Documents\ETS2MP or ATSMP
• Your last "client_.log" file --> C:\Users\%Username%\Documents\ETS2MP\logs or ATSMP\logs

 

The content of each file can be copy-pasted to "Pastebin" ( https://pastebin.com/ ) for example, then create a new paste for each file and send the 3 links in this ticket.

You may try to verify game integrity:

 

Open your Game Library on Steam.

Right-click on your game.

Select Properties from the menu.

In the Properties menu, select 'Local Files' from the left-hand panel.

On the Local Files page, select 'Verify integrity of game files'

Steam will then verify your files. ...

Once Steam is finished, a box like this will appear.

Since I don't know much English, please be more specific.

 

Could you please provide the client_log too? The directory of the file is C:\Users\%Username%\Documents\ETS2MP\logs. When choosing the client_log, pay attention to date of the file. For example, if the crash happened on 28th December, the file name should be client_2022_12_28_log which then would mean this log is from 28th December, when the crash happened.

Hello @xxxSTEPPxxx,

 

Have you already tried to play in singleplayer and check whether those crashes happen there as well or not?
Additionally, I suggest to try it with a new profile and see if the game still crashes.

 

If it crashes again, it would be helpful to send a new game.log and crash.log file.
