That is the idea of the default setting. We are not going to change this as having it Public by default is not user friendly and is not respecting the privacy of an individual. In busy areas, users could be flooded with invitations from others without having an idea why. Nevertheless, thank you for taking your time to create this suggestion. Rejected.
