Double HCT trailer outside Finland

Is it possible to drive a Double HCT trailer outside Finland and if so how do I do it? I see some people that drive double HCT and even triple trailer in Europe but how?

I have tried mods and it works in SP but the mods doesn't support MP

@Heich i myself sometimes i drive htc anywhere in map , the way you can do this is save edit and changing the restrictions of that trailer in question , also theres mods in SP that allows you to buy a htc but in the garage and will say single trailer , then you can move it anywhere in any garage across the map

HTC trailer is not bought from everywhere, it can be bought from some regions. You can also buy from those cities and go all over the map with that trailer, it will not cause any problems.

For this, in single mode, attach the trailer to your truck and go to the city you want with the 0 camera and position your truck there with the F9 key.

After that, you can enter MP mode and go wherever you want.

The HCT Trailers are allowed everywhere, there is no restricted area anymore and you will not get kicked or banned for bringing a HCT to Germany for example.

There are many ways to use a double HTC in Europe. I will show you in the follwing text some of them. 

1. You got to singleplayer and attach your HTC. Then you teleport your truck the city you want. Make a quicksave and then you can load this quicksave in multiplayer. (the problem is that you can't really use F7, as you will get teleported back to a service station in Finnland

    - open the console -> the command would be "goto [name of the city you want to go to]" --> you will get teleported to the city you want -> go to the ground with your freecam by using the numpad for steering the camera -> spawn your truck by clicking F9 -> make a save

 

2. You can use a singleplayer mod for a HTC. 

   - download a HTC singleplayer mod for example from the steam workshop (mostly it says "working in multiplayer" or just "for mp") 

   - start your Euro Truck Simulator 2 in singleplayer -> activated that mod in the mod manager

   - then you need to buy that trailer in the trailer dealer and park it into a garage you want

   - start the multiplayer and enjoy your HTC trailer

-> You don't need to activate that mod for using the trailer in TruckersMP as it's just a save edited trailer and it will work without any mod after buying it in singleplayer. 

 

3. You can buy a normal HTC in the trailer dealer and edit the "data.sii" of the trailer via save editing

  - that quite harder as the other steps as you need to know how to save edit

    -> this guide might be helpful then:

 

 

   - first of all you attach your HTC trailer -

   - make a quicksave -

   - open this quicksave -

   - go to my_trailer

   - search for the trailer by searching for the nameless part 

   - paste the data.sii of the trailer with one of a normal trailer

   -> You should be able now to park that trailer in any garage you want as the game thinks that it is a normal trailer (so, don't paste it with a data.sii path from a HTC trailer) 

 

Personally, I would recommend to use a singleplayer mod and then buy that trailer in singleplayer as it's much easier. After that you can use that trailer in multiplayer without activating any other mod. 

-> Just search for "htc trailer for multiplayer ets2" and you will find some mods you are probably looking for.
