Editing the complexity at the entrance to Duisburg

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Today I will suggest solving a problem I am experiencing in Duisburg. I am sure some of you have experienced this problem as well.

Problem; The area within the city of Duisburg is NCZ and the drivers move freely in this area. Users can even move in the opposite lane with the thought that they will not hit anyone anyway. When they go out of town, they don't notice the NCZ taking off and continue driving in the opposite lane. This causes accidents to occur, and the driver stops in the opposite lane and prevents the flow of traffic. Considering that a 30-second blocking in a crowded area like Duisburg causes huge traffic congestion, this is a serious problem.

I think the barriers should be among the places I show on the map so that the players can make a comfortable turn:   https://prnt.sc/112cofd
This style will prevent overtaking: https://prnt.sc/112cltf

How we can solve this problem? -> This ( https://prnt.sc/112comz ) or this  ( https://prnt.sc/112cq1f )

Barriers can be installed on the road as shown in the image. This will keep the players in their lanes and alleviate accidents a bit. However, players should be careful not to interfere with each other.

Do not hesitate to give your ideas and suggestions!

Kind regards,
Mehmet [24]
