mattfleaydaly's post in API truckersmp + (old) ets2map was marked as the answer
From my understanding (and I could be entirely wrong here), http://ets2map.com has the following ID numbers for the servers. Devs correct me if i'm wrong please!
ETS Europe #1 = ID 0
ETS Europe #2 = ID 2
ETS Europe #3 = ID 3
ETS United States #1 = ID 1
ETS South America #1 - ID 6
ETS Hong Kong #1 = ID 12
ATS Europe #2 = ID 9
ATS United States #1 = ID 10
http://truckersmp.com uses completely different ID numbers, you can find them by just using the request
https://api.truckersmp.com/v2/servers
Hopefully this helps!

mattfleaydaly's post in Lag Spikes was marked as the answer
G'day @ryanmc03,
Lag can be a common issue depending on a number of variables,
- Location (Distanxe from server... AKA Ping)
- Network speed
- Network load
- Server population
Your best bet would be to check your ping in game to see where that is hovering (Press TAB Key and it will display next to your name), the higher your ping, the more lag you'll get.
if you have a low ping, I would also recommend checking to see if you've got a large population of devices on your network at once, try reducing the devices connected whilst playing?
Alternativly you could try playing the game from another network to see if the issues still occur.
Let me know if this helps solve the issue.
Cheers!

mattfleaydaly's post in Game Keeps Freezing was marked as the answer
G'day @blakeisagamer12,
Even when reinstalling the game you will still have a number of settings that will be transferred across from where ETS saves game data.
If you do some digging around the Truckers MP forum, you'll see that similar issues have been reported in the past.
There are a number of things that could be causing this.
As seen on the attached post, one thing to try is to minimize the amount of trucks/drivers that you have operating with your company (therefor the game will be processing less data which could solve the issue),
Another thing to try is running the .exe to the game as an Administrator (Right click and then click "Run as Administrator).
If this fails to work it would also be worthwhile having a look at the crash log that is located in the Documents folder (In the Euro Truck Simulator 2 Folder).
The data in the crash log could help a number of users here on the forum to better understand what might be causing the issue.
Hopefully this helps!
Cheers!
