Game Moderators are allowed to do role play, but it is not our focus. We are more focused on enforcing the rules, so it is not that common.
As for traffic control, using our GM Panel (teleport, kick, ban) are far more effective in controlling traffic than physically blocking players. It would also lead to confusion and more chaos in general.

It is important to note that the rules are clear but poorly illustrated. According to rule (2.2) Collision, it states: "Intentionally causing or attempting to cause a collision with another player or as a result of negligence." This means that it pertains to situations involving two players and not a player colliding due to a bug or unintentional circumstance. In this case, since I did not have full control over my actions due to a game issue, there is a certain legal ambiguity, so to speak. Therefore, I cannot be considered at fault. (The same reasoning applies to other rules.)
This is not entirely true. In your example, a collision would only happen if you were not leaving an appropriate amount of distance to avoid unexpected events. You are clearly aware of the events that happen, when you willfully neglect these bugs and an incident results you can still be held liable. Obviously, every situation is on a case by case basis and lag is taken into account, but players are still expected to be able to leave an appropriate amount of time to react to incidents.

For me your answer is completely incomplete and meaningless
1) Instead of saying no right away, why don't you suggest a different method also arguing the answer and how it could also be done in a different way by providing a valid argument. The "no, there are more important things" is not an answer but an air of superiority aloneI have no control over when gets implemented, that is just my personal opinion.

A good amount of players use modded profiles, so this wouldn't really affect them. The only people it would affect are the simulation drivers who typically drive safer.

Mmm this is true... but what do you think if this system for traffic lights or speeding will work only when there are a certain number or players nearby?
I don't see this getting implemented. There are more important things to be added, and this is a fairly pointless feature to be honest. There isn't much benefit here, you can easily tell if someone is a bad driver or not just by watching them. We seem to be moving away from true simulation, which is what the majority of our player base wants.

To show it or to know if the driver in front of you or behind you is a "bad driver" and be more careful with him to avoid incidents
This system won't show who is a dangerous driver. If anything, this will punish players who still follow our rules but speed when it is safe and run red lights when no players are around. In all honesty, the majority of our players are not true simulation players so almost everyone will have a "bad" score.

What is the practicality of this? Would it just be for the sake of showing it on their profile?

Hey there, the amount of reports you can submit is based on the quality of your reports.
Valid reports submitted outside of heavily populated areas will increase your report limit, with a max limit of 20 reports.
Valid reports submitted from heavily populated areas will not affect your report limit, this was done to prevent people from "farming" reports, by only driving on CD for the sake of getting other players banned.
Reports that violate rule 1.4 or do not show a valid offense will decrease the maximum number of reports you can submit.

Spamming messages is not allowed already, but banning them entirely in game is not really realistic. In all honesty, we have more important things to worry about than someone posting a harmless message about a VTC.

This will be heavily abused by players.
Example 1: There is a convoy on a public server and there is a non-vtc member driving in the convoy. This is perfectly legal, but the VTC members may not like that so they will kick the player, when the player did nothing wrong.
Example 2: There are a group of friends who will all vote to kick each other as a joke.
Example 3: There is a player following a streamer, that streamer tells all of their viewers to vote kick the player, when the player violated no rules.
I could keep going on, just look at games that have/had implemented a vote kick system. You can find tons of articles of people complaining about it being abused. Additionally, a kick isn't going to do anything. On the rare chance that it is used without malicious intent, the player can just join right back.

Hey there, please refer to the Knowledge Base Article for the discord rules. More specifically:
Quote9. Discord Punishment System
- 9.04. You can contest any punishments you have received via the feedback system, selecting the “Community Moderation Management” category when creating a ticket.
-
The ban didn't expire until May 7th, 2022. Meaning it has not been a year since the ban expired. Once May 7th has passed it will be changed to an inactive ban.

By Game Managers do you mean the Game Moderation Management, or Game Moderators? GMMs responsibilities are mainly managing the team, not enforcing rules in game.

I think it makes more sense to install security cameras in crowded areas. Dear admins, they can view and interfere with many cameras from a single screen.
While this is a good idea in theory, I don't think it would be feasible due to the number of players that would be loaded in. Additionally, there are times when there is too much chaos for me even to notice everything in 1 area, particularly the Calais F7. I feel like this would be too chaotic and lead to more things being missed.

There are too many problems with this, it will be heavily abused.

It depends. If it is a steam workshop that effectively works as save editing by making small changes to an existing truck most likely not, you will need to look at our save editing rules. If you are asking about a truck that doesn't exist in game base, that wouldn't even work in TruckersMP.
I can not give you a true answer without knowing more details.

I feel like this suggestion should be directed at SCS more than TMP. We do some map edits, but they typically are to improve traffic flow and for custom events.

I see what you mean. However... my main point is: Why would you be required to have a trailer attached if it doesn't even get fixed?
It was probably to attempt to combat trolls. The /fix command has been in the game before I have been in the team, so I don't know the reason behind that.

This has been suggested multiple times before. The reason /fix exists is so players don't get an engine malfunction and block the road. The damage to the trailer has nothing to do with the ability to drive, so it is unnecessary.
By playing on a multiplayer network you run the risk of getting in collisions and your load being damaged. If you don't want to get your trailer damaged don't drive on CD, or just drive on singleplayer.
Also, you claimed some people will use /fix because they play realistic and don't want to save edit. There is nothing realistic about using a command to magically fix your truck/trailer damage.
-
I'm confused on what you are suggesting. Are you suggesting we force people to a new road? We don't control where people go, they do that based on their free will.
-
It's already the law that you can't stop in the middle of the intersection. Some players already don't respect the rules, so adding a box will change nothing.

This would require a serious time commitment, which is unrealistic for a group of volunteers.

As stated on our report system, the report load is currently very high. This means there will be a longer time before you hear a response.

The time of day is intentionally locked for all players. This way the time headlights are required is synced across all players. In a multiplayer simulation game the time of day should be the same for everyone.

Server hosted settings sync for all players
in Rejected

I feel like detours and road events would be okay to add outside of CD. Traffic offenses, fatigue, and rain being synced will lead to a decrease in players as I personally don't like those settings on.
