    First of all the most common thing I would suggest is making sure the right ETS2 account is linked with "said" WOT Account.... I would check to see they match and if they do I would goto WOT support as this isnt a TruckersMP issue

    I had this when I first used TMP all I did was load steam and run single player in 64bit with direct x and waited till the game loaded drove truck for 5 seconds exited the game and loaded TMP with Admin rights and all was fine.... never had the problem since.....

    Issues downloading Truckers MP

    @ANANCYKID If you have ATS installed and its setup through your steam account when it comes to install the game make sure you put the proper directory path in or it wont work.....

     

    for example "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\American Truck Simulator" without the brackets ("")

     

    the best way to get your direct path is to goto your steam and highlight american truck simulator and click properties after you do this a tab menu will appear goto "local files" then click "browse local files" after you do this the folder will open.... in the address bar is the location of your ATS files copy this and paste it into your installation where it asks you to put the path.... and the Truckers MP mod will install.... look below for pictures to make it that little bit easier for you !!!

    Please note: if you dont have ATS installed and you only want ets2 installed make sure that you untick ats when going through the install guide......

    @Smalley - Truckers.FM I don't think it will be hard to implement at all just a case of creating a folder on the main server and cliping the issue the only issue I can see of this is due to the amount of reports each day I doubt they would have a big enough server to hold the selected files they would run out of space within hours I think......

     

    Its a great idea but when you look at the space this will use within the server alone it's not practical.... but in saying that if they could implement it via an automatic youtube upload might be handy.... but dont know if this in-turn would affect people's connection to the server with the data being sent every second due to high upload meters not only that would youtube have an automatic block for multiple upload so forth...... 

     

    In saying that they could allocate a set amount of space to these and overwrite older reports when this space becomes maxed but then again you would be just avoiding the inevitable that the reports will be overwritten and you will be back to square one....

     

    But I dont know what space TMP have let alone know their setup so cant really comment much apart from the knowledge I know about dedicated servers.....

    @jj_228 You was kicked from the network due to your "ping" being high this means your internet was being very slow and causing issues on the server..

     

    If your ping gets too high this means even though your driving fine on your game everyone else on the server will be seeing your truck jump forward and backwards and could result in several accidents and even more issue's.... So there is an Auto Kick set in the server to prevent this from occuring however I must say its set to 600ms ping which to me is very very reasonable......

     

    If this keep happening to you please check your internet connection and make sure that its not being over loaded with multiple computers tablets phones and so forth.... if your internet is under heavy usage while trying to play MultiPlayer you will come along this issues for example (Downloading 5 gig of software while gaming online) will cause this kind of ping in most cases but not at all times....... also you can try @MrHarv #Wish64 advice from a previous post which is below :) which could also sort your solution!!!

     

    Try all of these

     

    1. Do a dns flush, Clicky here on how to do that

    2. Clear your PC's temp files with Clean Master for PC

    3. Open up your Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del on keyboard and see if there are some updating services running in the background processes , Example: Adobe IPC Broker service,or any form of updater service which updates softwares you use in the background. If you dont know if there are any running provide a screenshot and i will guide you furthur on.)

    4. Do a Disk Cleanup of C: drive Clicky here on how to do that , P.S The top right corner where it says Windows 8.1/Windows RT 8.1 , Click drop down arrow and select your version of windows 7/8/10)

    5. Disable any unwanted programs you dont want running and hogging internet. Clicky here on how to do that.

     

    Id bet on my listed methods to have a ping reduction by a few ms.

    If all else fails make a support ticket.

     

     

    P.S: @jj_228 it's also worth noting that sometimes a forum search can result in your answer already being done by a previous user asking for similar help. In future try this feature to get the help you need quicker ;)

    If he has bought it via disc he can still register it to steam via the license key here is a few tips on how they can do so... Please be aware using cracked copies or copies that are not fully legit this guides will not work and being honest for the price of the game why would you but as followed here are a few pages to get your friend started and linked the game to a steam account this way it   will work :) hope this helps you ;)

    This has been asked so many times please in future try and search the forums before making a suggestion to see if your suggestion already infact has been asked :) 

     

    Also Truckers MP is a mod of its own it... just like any other mod out there.... even though ProMods and TMP along with sils mega pack would be ideal for the online community they are all seprate ownerships and would be a mess to get going.... Its not as simple as TMP putting it on their server and boom all use it... The owners of "said" mods need to give permission not only that.... you got to think about update process's as they will be different for each mod which will eventually cause problems for TMP when its time to update when SCS release new patches and what not.....

     

    At the end of the day it's more complicated than just putting on the server......

    @oolala11 its depends really 3 years ago TMP was totally different back then and probebly wasn't as standing as it is now even though I have never been banned before a person asking a question about a 3 year ban I would think that there would be a certain process where a "said" member of staff would look into the "said" account and check to see how bad this person really was... and would a second chance be good for the "said" user.....

     

    Different times and different rules so maybe a time gap like this maybe a re-look to see if the user has learnt how the rules go.... obviously not all will be good but you never know you might get a few people who have matured by this time and want to get back on

     

     

    People know troll at 15 get perm ban by the age of 18 maturity has come into play (maybe) and they would like to try again..... I think this user has put forward a good question due to the length of time the ban has been in place for....... everything should be taking into consideration !!!!!!!

    if you purchased DLC from steam its normally once downloaded you don't have to do anything apart from load the game and its there waiting.... I know the DLC button you speak of but i have never needed to use it.....   if your using DLC thats not official wont work on multiplayer.... i have done a scan on issue's and havent seen a single issue with proxy settings in the DLC Browser have you got a legitimate copy of ETS2 and is the DLC Legitimate also ?

     

    check integrity of game files via right click game properties>local files>Verify Integrity Of Game Files

     

    Also check that your not in any beta programmes via right click on game Properties>BETAS and make sure its set to NONE - opt out of all betas

    That's virtually impossible and I don't think that's the case in this matter the case is plain busy areas attracts poor judgement at times and people still think its cool to treat the game like GTA rather than a simulation :)  or answer another way the user is going too fast to react to the conditions ahead and start to lose control when trying to adjust too late.... or even better still they are going too fast round a bend or jerk the steering too fast that will alter the trucks trailer or stability of the unit which in-turn will make you lose control again.....

     

    There is endless possibilities of how this could happen its not just down to k/b + mouse or steering wheel or even game pad as I personally have managed them all at different times and never had an issue! its always down to drivers error

    A1. They wont see the DLC they will just see a standard one I believe

     

    A2. Depending on your pc specification you may not be able to run Ultra / High settings for a more FPS and smooth running if this settings are an issue goto Medium or Low make sure to check the game requirements and compare to your own setup.... If you have the recommended that means high possibly ultra will be fine if all is ticked ;)

    It is amazing how many people read the title of this topic but didn't actually read the post properly it clearly states that its a staff convoy not a community convoy and the staff is allowing the community to view via twitch if they would like to :)

    Hi there this isn't really a solution for this issue your having but it is... an alternative if your looking for a specific job I would suggest setting up Virtual Speditor and before you use it I suggest you watch a setup tutorial and get everything correct first I just myself learnt of this and started using it thanks to a friend in the community helping me....

     

    You can pick as followed

    Starting Destination along with depot of choice

    Finishing Destination along with depot of choice

    Choose from all the cargo in-game including heavy DLC if you own it....

    Corrupt download file

    If your having issues with the launcher being corrupt after download what I suggest doing is downloading CC Cleaner free edition....and installing the software which will clear all your temp files and cache's also goto your c:/downloads or the location you selected to download folder locate the launcher files and delete them once this is done try re-downloading the application again and it should work... please note this is a .zip file not .rar so winrar isnt really needed just your normal windows unzip will work fine

    Multiplayer does not turn on

    Try running the mod in Administrator mode this will solve the issue all the mod is trying to do is connect to TMP Server to get the latest update for the mod nothing more and your computer is restricting this whether down to cpu right or firewall rights but this seems to be one of the most common issues in TMP make sure 100% that Administrative rights are giving to this mod and you should be fine..... :) 

     

    Select Truckers MP then right click mouse and select Run as administrator

    ETS2 Sync "Game Change Detected"

    This generally happens when ETS2 is updated it does nothing to your game it only reset the previous job and puts your current vehicle into your default garage........ You have to understand that's SCS set this up so when you do update that you have zero issues/glitches.... its just solves any problems that could occur after update completes.... :) 

     

    Also for you to change the save format you have to be out the game completely and edit the config.cfg once saved then load up the game and load your game then save your game and the save format will stay ;)

    I selected everything cause it would be good for me and my stream I also clicked other I would be nice to see a sticker for your pc case or something and maybe a TMP Logo Flag I would rather buy TMP gear as I play TMP rather than ETS2 Gear to be honest.... also would be a great way to support the network.... also not being funny would you do a bundle deal if everything was purchased ????
