    DLC SPECIAL TRANSPORT

    I dont think it was ever intended to work in MP. For the Heavy Haul DLC, the developers of TMP had to craft up trailers with similar specifications for people that didn't own the DLC, otherwise they'd hit invisible trailers they didn't know were there. This alone would take weeks of work to prep, as it did for them to get the Heavy Haul DLC ready for both ETS2 and ATS.

     

    Also, imagine everyone driving around with huge trailers, blocking traffic, trolling, etc.

     

    Finally, they'd have to add AI to the traffic, a feat in itself. Now imagine a troll keeps wrecking your escorts and making you fail repeatedly.

    Special Transport DLC ?

    The Special Transport DLC will not likely be added to MP. It was not added for ETS2 either when it was released. The reason is most likely that it will create traffic hazards, and they would need to implement AI traffic which does not currently exist in MP.

    ATS VNL Airhorn Not Audible to Other Players

    Mod Version: 1.32.4.45s
    Controllers Used: Logitech G27, Mega Shifter
    Description of Issue: Volvo VNL Horn is audible to other players, but the air horn is not. Same issue occurred when W900 was added to ATS. The icon for the horn appears next to their name, but no sound is audible.
    How to reproduce: Use air horn on Volvo VNL, ask other players if they can hear it.

    No, there is no way to do this in both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator.

     

    You can do this by choosing External Contracts (World of Trucks jobs). It is the only way though.

    If you take Route 1 east out of Zurich, then head south before you get to the A14 and head towards Milano.. I absolutely love that route through the Alps and really wish more people would take it. It's so beautiful and more challenging than most of the other roads. The curves and hills would force people to keep their speed down. I would really enjoy it.

    I've never used "mods" in multiplayer. Save editing, however, I still do; using in-game assets. For example, before the tuning pack applied to the new Scanias, I took the lightboard from the old Scania and put it in the back of the new Scania. I also use the Volvo D16 750 HP in a few different trucks, and in my Volvo, I've changed my grill from that horrible chrome to the black plastic grill, or used the visors from the DAF on my Volvo.

     

    I don't see why you'd want to use mods that no one else would be able to see anyway. I mean, half of this game is simulating driving a truck. The other half is looking good while you're doing it. B)

    Italy isn't quite fully supported yet (i.e. NCZs, etc.). I imagine when they finish Italy and release it for MP, then we'll see the winter mod!

    Automatically detect when a Skoda has a trailer

    @[RusTK] Alex KERNEL It's not always that people need to read the rules. Two nights ago I watched two drivers in Skodas grab trailers in Duisberg and start down D-C road. We warned them both in chat and via CB Radio, and their response was basically they "don't care if they get banned" and "they were bored". The player count was right around 560 at the time (probably around 4am GMT). They were reported via the in-game tool, but of course, there were no admins on.

     

    Considering that your ticket system has a backlog of reports, a feature like this would reduce the need for filing reports altogether and would ease the workload of your administration team AND players who take the time to file reports. I have the video of the event, but that's MY time I have to take out of what I'm doing to file that report, and YOUR time to respond to it. Some players just don't care that they're eating OUR time.

     

    So yes, I fully support this idea.

    Was there an update pushed today? Something is wrong. I'm getting 24 FPS when I launch MP, but when I launch the SP game I'm getting 60 FPS as usual.

     

    I'm using ATS and I've got a GTX 1070 OC.. shouldn't be dropping frames that low. I have no mods. Have not tried ETS.
