I found the event rather difficult, especially for players who play alone. In any case, I didn't make it, I didn't have the yellow egg. On the other hand, I was often able to screenshot eggs in the other colours several times in several different locations, but in my case I never managed to get the yellow egg colour I was missing, no matter how often I went to the known locations.

Players who played together with many other players or were part of a larger VTC, on the other hand, could simply park a player permanently at each position and were then told which coloured egg was currently in the corresponding position, but you didn't have this option if you were playing alone.

As a result, you could only go to the same known positions over and over again and had to hope to find the missing yellow egg by chance, but ultimately only built up a collection of red, blue, green etc. eggs in changing positions. In this respect, I found it difficult to find the missing yellow egg in the allotted time.

Nevertheless, I found the event fun, even if it wasn't successful for me personally and I didn't get the profile badge. But perhaps we can find a solution to this problem in the future. For example, "find 10 different eggs in different locations" or something like that. In this case, I could have used my 3 shots of the red eggs in different locations and the 2 photos of the green eggs in different locations (I can't remember if it was exactly this combination, I've already deleted the shots), and the missing yellow egg, which was apparently always not where I was going, wouldn't have been a problem for me which is a little bit frustrating for me ("oh, great, the third time I found the red egg at the third location"). 🙂

  2. Hey @wonszuuu👋

Thank you for your suggestion and question.

Having discussed your idea with our managers, we believe that what you suggested could be something for our well-known TruckersMP tournaments, and something we would definitely want to look into. Over the past years we've tried to come up with new ideas and challenges for players to face at our tournaments, and what you suggested sounds like a cool idea and addition to our special events. We would obviously need to discuss on what such a competition could look like and what players would need to do to be better than another, but we're interested in the idea and have noted it down for the future.

Although a drift competition alone would perhaps be too much to set up to and most likely wouldn't get attended as much nor be as popular as events like our tournaments, we could certainly have a drift competition during another event. For instance, a drift competition (with winter physics [enabled]) might be something we could hold during a Christmas convoy break or, as mentioned, as additional challenge for our TruckersMP tournaments.

We appreciate your question and hope to continuously have you at our events.

Please feel free to share more suggestions to us throughout the feedback system or get in touch with us in case you got another question here.

    Regards,

    I do have some feedback

    1. Before the event start, announce that vehicles must be a truck and trailer. I've seen a few without a trailer waiting for the start.
    2. There were lots of players parked off the side of the road outside the company. Yet, they were still ahead in the convoy.
    3. Is it possible to release by company size instead of going company by company? Ours had about 120 at the start.
    4. I also loved how the convoy didn't know how a railing works. Because i saw you trying to perfect a makeshift divider as they went into oncoming lanes to continue straight in Paris XD
    5. Looking at the livemap after the end, there were a few players just doing their delivers outside the event zone. Not realizing, it's an event server, not a freeroaming session.

    Next Event Idea

    • Only say 1 city where the lead is going. Once the lead reaches there, they go to the back of the line and the next player in front decides where to go. And it repeats every stop.

    1. That's something we can certainly look into. I'll discuss that with our EM's.

    2. We usually try to have everyone parked in a company. Due to the amount of people near or in companies, some do struggle to find their way into one. Just like above, I'll take note of that and discuss it with other managers.

    3. That's something we will future-vise try to work on. Our plan was to let each company depart than others wait, which yet required a bit more of planning. Will see how we can improve on that.

4/5. Yikes. That's unfortunately something we hardly can control. Moderators do try their best to kick players which are freeroaming, which still isn't easy to do. Will have to see how it goes.

Appreciate the valuable feedback! I'll try and take note of that for our future convoys & events. 🤞
