  1. Whilst I can see the appeal of this, the times in which you want to have rain synchronised are often when you're driving with someone, so you could easily "sync" the weather by both using a console command at the same time. Therefore, I still think this has merits, but I don't think it's going to be a game changing experience.

  2. Although I appreciate the fixes, I think that hiding the accessories that people don't have permissions for is a mistake.

The automatic server kick is very quick and reliable, so that prevents people from using these accessories, so they don't actually need to be prevented from being equipped.

Additionally, seeing those accessories could encourage a player to become a Patron, as they'd have seen the very well designed trailer skin and then thought to themselves that they wanted to get it, therefore this would lead to more Patrons, than if the in-game benefits couldn't be tried in an empty server.

As for hiding the police accessories, I think this makes more sense, however it still seems a bit unnecessary as the auto-kick would have dealt with this issue in a similarly effective way. Presumably these accessories will show on Event Servers with Police cars for players enabled, right?

  3. One signal I'll often use is a single flash of the indicator to show that I'm going to be slowing down and turning.

This advance warning often helps prevent rear-end collisions and allows for a more gradual slowing.

You're right and I will go ahead and do that soon :) The topic is from 2018 where the darkmode of the forum was not a thing yet, therefore the text is written in dark colours.

Great to hear! I'm sure a lot of people will benefit from this! :wow:

  5. Suggestion Name:  change the name of the wow emote (:wow:) to woah

Suggestion Description: Change the name of the wow emote on the forum to woah on the TruckersMP Forum.

    Any example images: image.png.c0f324b7c506b32b16b34f0d51151675.png :woah:

Why should it be added?: This is the more commonly used name for that emote, and it is also the name used in the official TruckersMP Discord server, so this would be consistent across both platforms.

  6. You can make a website using a service such as Wix.com or Wordpress.

I'd suggest watching some YouTube tutorials on how to use these services, as that will be a lot clearer.

Once you've got a website, you can post the link onto a Discord channel in your server.

  7. Although this could be nice to see, I don't think it should be a priority any time soon.

In my opinion, functional improvements such as an update to the Scout vehicle should take priority over aesthetic improvements and additions.

The other issue with this suggestion is that truck skins are considerably more challenging and more time consuming to make than a trailer skin.

As I understand it, a different skin has to be made for each truck if the skin is to remain high quality and well fitting, so this suggestion would take a considerable amount of time and resources to implement, when they could be used to provide functional improvements that all of the TruckersMP community could benefit from.

Therefore, I don't think this suggestion should be accepted, unless there is spare time.

In the mean time, Patrons can always extract the colour codes from the trailer and use them with one of the non-DLC truck paintjobs, so that the truck would match the trailer. This would achieve virtually the same result, with a high quality finish as SCS has spent a lot of time on the truck paintjobs, without any additional work.

  8. As much as I want to support this, at the end of the day, I still believe that this is a terrible idea.

The afk kick is there to allow the servers to remove inactive players, so that active ones can join.

In the peak times when the servers are full, an extension to the afk kick would cause the queue to be much larger, therefore reducing the quality of the experience for non Patrons.

The current afk timer already seems a bit oversized to me - I think a 5 minute one would be more appropriate for Sim1, however lots of events take place on the other servers, so they benefit largely from the long afk kick timer.

The one thing that I definitely believe is that Patrons shouldn't have an extended afk kick timer as most people wouldn't benefit from that, and it encourages people to leave the game open (taking a slot that could be used by someone else) in scenarios when they usually should close the game and relaunch.

  9. Personally, I think this would be very beneficial.

As some others have mentioned, it could put additional strain on your system, however if that's an issue for you, you can just decrease the render and smoothing distances in the TAB menu, which would completely negate this.

The main benefits would be applicable to all Patrons, as even if you're not supervising an event or something similar, a further free camera range can be useful when looking to see what's causing congestion, or just checking the state of the road ahead.

In some cases, I've used the free-camera to check the road behind as heavy cargoes can be very slow to accelerate, so having advanced warning of any vehicles there would be highly beneficial and could definitely improve the overall safety of those who had the slightly extended free-camera range.

Therefore, I think that this would be a highly beneficial addition to the game that doesn't completely change the game-play experience (so it's fair to the non-Patrons too), but it provides a slightly improved free-camera function that many people would appreciate and could motivate more players to sign up.

  10. Hi there,

You can use those money and xp mods in singleplayer only, however any xp or money that you earn with them will carry over to multiplayer.

In terms of mods, only the following mods are supported:

You can however use the beacons from the Special Transport DLC and if you wanted to, you could use a local addon hookup for the roofbars, however that's very complicated and only you would be able to see them.

How can I modify fuel tank through save editing?
I only know that I need to do something with fuel_relative value but I idk exactly what and how.

    Hi there @Trucker[PL/EN]

Open up your decrypted game.sii, find your truck by searching for your numberplate and then change fuel_relative to 5, which will massively increase the amount of fuel in your vehicle.
