  1. Thank you for the guide. I'm pretty sure the most embarrassing moment I've had with this was back in February when I was in a convoy lead by admins and I stalled on a hill and had to disconnect from the server because I had absolutely no idea how to start on a steep upward slope without stalling.

This guide will be very useful for those new to manual shifting even if they aren't new to the game and hopefully prevent the same thing that happened to me.

  2. This video explains how to do it clearly:

Note that a new rule states that you aren't supposed to be off the map by using this then coming to multiplayer, but using it to teleport to places accessible by normal driving is allowed.

  3. Maybe there could be a smart system where only the reports for blocking are kept. But then again, you are right, if it's really affecting lots of players a blocker is going to get reported again really fast. +1

  4. ^ if you're going to write no or -1, at least explain why. However I still disagree with this, people going fast around corners are just going to cause even worse accidents if they can't stop o and flip over a whole lot more often. The more game settings you try to force the more complaining there will be.

  5. I do support this, it seems like on my desktop the chat and UI are way to large yet on another computer the chat is very small even though the monitors are about the same size. Being able to adjust the size of things would be a very nice feature.

  6. I agree that something should be done about this, but not with banning users for spawning on the road because sometimes it's hard to tell if they intentionally parked there or not or had an issue like a fatal error and they didn't know where they would spawn.

That being said, let me remind you how many times this has been suggested:

  7. I really don't want go through this again, especially if it gets lowered. It's fine the way it is and it was put there for a reason which was to make both the nsl fans and the sl fans happy.

  8. I really don't get how this would work, how can you foolproof the system so people don't post troll videos into their profile that have nothing to do with the ban? If it has to be approved by an admin first, then that would take up more time that could be put somewhere better.

  9. I don't agree with the part about letting users who pirated the game play, and making a server that can handle what you described will be very costy, do you have the money for that? And if that driving point system was put into effect, like half the people who play this game would be perm - banned on the spot because of running a red light 3 times.

  10. Having a collision zone can be good in some ways, for example, it actually encourages people to slow down for other people, if it was non collision people would just race through each other without a care in the world.

Now if you are trying to avoid the trolls, you simply don't go there at all. It's even easier to do that now without getting lost thanks to the new navigation system. Going to Europoort, especially at peak hour, is always taking the risk of getting rammed/blocked ect... If you still want to go through there, it never hurts to make a quicksave just before entering so if anything happens you can try again without loosing money.
