^Nope, I disagree - the problems with 2800-slot server was that it gets too overloaded and it struggles with the job(it starts lagging, crashing, desynchronizing etc.) while this has existed since some time,  but I never had it so I am not sure what it causes it. In other words I believe server slots is not related to the problem.

Well, We got "kinda similar" system at the moment:

• You start with 0 points
• your goal is not to get any points
• the more points you get, the longer ban you get
• if you reach 6 points, its game over for you

As far as I know, in the early days people abused it to intentionally block/brake-check the people behind them; You can still go around that by using e.g. Fraps or some similar recording software

wait a sec, why put directly a kick - can't we have a small flashing low-beam light indicator thingy for like a minute as reminder and if we ignore it then we get kicked - it'll look cooler and it will give some time for people to react instead of instantly kicking them
