  1. I know alot of people are upset/sad/disappointed or even annoyed/angry about the new 93mph (150km/h) speed limit on all servers and I can understand why as I also do not agree with it either and I am disappointed with it :( (I can also understand the reasoning behind it tho)

I like alot of players in TMP like to speed however as many of you already know part of speeding is slowing down for corners, junctions and other traffic and overall actually being able to control the car/truck at speed. If you are unable to control them at speed then you should not be speeding in the first place (Practice in SP or EU4 until you are able to control them at speed)

Those who can't control cars/trucks at 180km/h are not going to be able to control it at 150km/h and they will still drive recklessly and overtake when its unsafe and cause crashes. There will still be plenty of crashes and accidents.

The top speed of the trucks is between 103mp and 106mph (approx) so with this 93mph limit its limiting something available in the base game.

I personally think that if there has to be a speed limit it should be increased to slightly above the trucks top speed (as the cars should be able to go slightly faster) I get that this is a simulator however its not a hard core simulator and is just a game :)

I think the biggest problem with speed was cars going 250km/h everywhere (especially on C-D) as thats just crazy and dangerous and although I like speeding in the car on empty motorways/highways I've rarely if ever reached those speeds as I don't think its very easy to control (some can however)

You won't notice this change much on country roads and busy roads like C-D however you will notice it an awful lot on the big empty roads (motorways + highways) around MP (especially when your driving the car)

To all those who are upset and angry about this change tho I would suggest to not let yourself get too angry about it and quit :tmp: or post angrily about it.

All we can do atm is just hope that they might change their minds and remove it or increase it a bit at some point in the future.

Unfortunately I'd imagine its here to stay and doubt the limit will be increased and if thats the case we just got to accept it (most people here even staff prob have one or 2 things they don't really like and thats just part of an MP like this) but you do never know so we can hope :)

I understand they put the limit but it will not help, people already make accidents all the time and forcing the limit will not help, most members do not want limits on their trucks, they have to listen to what we want before deciding what they will do and not simply impose. I know this is not a racing game but at the same time when you're alone on a highway and you want to go faster you have that choice. I do not usually run above 120, but when I want I can and it is not fair they put a limit. they said it was to reduce the problems of accidents but it will continue the same thing, people will continue reckless and this will not lead anywhere. I think they have to do a poll to know what we want.
