Can't Load a savefile to play

Today I was playing in the 1.38.x offline version of the game and wanted to play online, so I downgraded the version to the 1.37.x to play, I logged in, selected my profile and this appeared:

A quick translate is that the saved file is not compatible and that I should update the game to the latest version, I think because the saved file is from 1.38.x, but I can't load any file and if I just select Load, nothing happens, the game just can't load anything.

If you have been playing ETS2 on 1.38, your profile will not be compatible the current version of TruckersMP (1.37)

If you wish to play TruckersMP, you will need to downgrade, and get a new profie/load a save from 1.37.

Hey @Paolooo98,

Make a backup of the profile you couldn't get into multiplayer first. Because use this profile when 1.38 is supported in the future.

You can fix that issue using an auto backup profile made by the game.

 

Go to this folder: C:\Users\urUsername\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\

Find the folder "profiles(1.37.whatever).bak" (look at the date and choose the recent one) copy it and paste into C:\Users\urUsername\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles

After doing this go into SinglePlayer mode and see if your profile works in the previous version.
