downgrade for 1.38 to 1.37 ??

hello. i just tried to open Trucker MP to go trucking, but right after i clicked the icon to play i get a message saying i'm playing with beta 1.38.0.88 and to downgrade to 1.37.1.16s (rev. d0adcaea73c6). when i look in steam properties the specific beta im looking for,it not there in the menu list of betas.    The thing about it is, i never manually installed the 1.38 beta.   is this a problem anyone else is having and is there a way to get around it?  thanks.      Jeff

thanks, yes i follow those steps, but the beta 1.37 i am looking for isnt in the list of betas to select form,

You just need to select this on the list: NONE - Opt out of all beta programs
