I was wondering how would I make my current cargo beside my name change to my actual truck cargo?

Assuming you are talking about the forum, its all about posts, and has no correlation as to what you are doing in the game. The number of posts you have shows a different cargo/rank. At 500 posts you can set your own text.

Welcome to TMP,

 

As far as the cargo rank it goes up with the post count. The more posts you have the higher your cargo rating. The topic above goes into more detail as to how this works but this is just a summary.
