Error connecting to update servers

DragonSurfer

Question

Thanks for closing my thread without helping

IVE RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR AND IVE TRIED THE GUIDE ON THE FORUM AS I STATED - THIS DOES NOT SOLVE MY ISSUE!!!!!

New to Trucksim multiplayer. Downloaded the client following your instructions but when i launch the truckermp icon it says there was

"an error connecting to the update servers. Retry?"

I've gone all the way through the forum. I've downloaded the .net frame thing. Disabled firewalls and windows protection. Done the %programdata% trick. Redownloaded numerous times. Restarted my router. Tried connecting through mobile network. Ran CCleaner all last night. I've literally tried everything suggested including the error guide posted on the forum and i'm pulling my hair out.

Do i need to revert ETS to an older version? What am i doing wrong?

(Steam > Library > Euro Truck Simulator 2 > Right Click > Properties > Betas > Opt Out of All Beta Programs)

Dear  @DragonSurfer,

In order to fix this issue you have to download Microsoft .Net Framework 4.6.2 from Windows.

You can find the file at this address: https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=53345

Steps:
1. Download and install Microsoft .Net Framework 4.6.2
2. Restart PC
3. Run TruckersMP launcher as Administrator

Thanks, good games..

Best regards

Hello dear mate,

Please fallow these section

Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard

Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)

Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder.

Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher"

Go to our website and re-download and install the Launcher with admin privileges  https://truckersmp.com/download/

Open The Launcher with admin privileges and click "Install Available Updates"

Method 2 :

Make sure you have the latest .Net Framework

Clean your temp files with CCleaner

Check your temp files path and make sure it's located at C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache

If you don't have "INetCache" folder make a new folder and name it "temp" and then open the Windows temp settings and choose the new path.

Read this please;

Method 3 :

Download this and i swear this no threat.Link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145
Restart your PC
Make a right click on "TruckersMP"
Click on "execute as administrator"
