Game freezes when saving

Hello everyone, I am limo6101. I have experienced this problem since last year.  Whenever I try to save or load a game, it freezes for about 15 seconds, which is getting annoying. I only have this problem on my primary profile. If I create another profile, this problem does not appear. Is there any suggestions for this problem? If there's not, can I transfer my map exploration data and other data to new profile? If I just copy & paste the profile.sii, same problem happens. I have played on this profile for more than 3 years, so I cannot just start from the beginning. I will wait for the replies, and thank you for helping me

Yeah seems your profile has a bug on it . I really suggest you start a new profile . I know you have been playing alot on this but still , a new profile would mean a new challenge .

Hey @limo6101.

 

A common cause is due to the fact that you most likely have a high amount of drivers / trucks. The less drivers / trucks that you have, the less time that it will take to save / load.

To fix your problem, you only have to wait. This can take you about 15 minutes. But especially when your game freeze, does nothing more, do not touch your computer anymore and be patient.  
 
2.method:
The Reason of the Game Freezing like this is because of:
You have a lot of Money / Garages / Drivers etc.

I guess I have to get rid of all drivers and trucks. I had 100 for each, and I dismissed the drivers and sold trucks. I have 50 for each, and I still have freezing when saving. However, the freezing time decreased about 3 seconds. I will get rid of garages as well. Thank you for helping me!

It does not freeze for 15 minutes, it freezes for 15 seconds. I guess it's because of huge amount of drivers, trucks, and garages as you mentioned. Thanks for helping me, and I'll be in touch again soon

Thanks man, I sold and dismissed 90% of my trucks and drivers. Now it takes about 2 seconds to save the game and 4 seconds to load a game  It helped me a lot!

Thanks man, I sold and dismissed 90% of my trucks and drivers. Now it takes about 2 seconds to save the game and 4 seconds to load a game  It helped me a lot!
