Hello @pa65ro68si99,

You should select ETS2 Multiplayer.

You should not select ATS Multiplayer.

If you want to play the ATSMP,you must buy the game in Steam.

Additionally,you can't use Family-Sharing.

This is an Easy fix. From what you've provided me, it seems as if you have selected the wrong directory in your computer. Here are some instructions!

First off, you need to find out what Hard drive your steam directory is located. For me it is in, Local Dick (C:) Then you need to find out what file it is installed to default, which is typically Program Files (x86) From there, you go to Common Files and scroll down until you see the Steam folder. Then after clicking those two folders, scroll down until you see a folder named, "steamapps." From there it's straight forward. click American Truck Simulator  and click OK. Okay, now you should be all set!

Now if you do NOT have steam installed in the default drive, these instructions are for you!

This is how you can find what folder your Steam Directory is installed in. First off, you need to Open Steam then if you track your cursor to the Top Left of the screen and click Steam, above the Back and Forward buttons by the Store tab. From there you need to trace down the list until you see, Settings,  from the settings you can edit your account, friends, download, music, and more. You want to click on Downloads. This is where you can access your folder location. At the top of the Downloads tab, you can see a Content Libraries title and STEAM LIBRARY FOLDERS. Click on Steam Library Folders and there will be a list of characters and numbers describing where your steam directory is, Here is an example of what it should look like if your is installed in the default folder. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam  If your steam is installed in the default location, it will show this. If not, it should look slightly different. Copy or wright down the folder location. Next go to the Installer  and go to the toplook to the left of it where is should be a Blank box or something similar. Click on the RIGHT side of the box, not outside of it! It should turn into a text box if not already. Click Backspace and type in your file location. NOT MINE: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam This is ONLY an example! If you click Enter it will bring you to the file steam is installed on. From there, scroll down until you see a folder named, "steamapps." From there it's straight forward. click American Truck Simulator  and click OK. Okay, now you should be all set!

I hoped this help and have a wonderful summer!

@pa65ro68si99 it's been awhile since this was created. Are you still needing help?  If so....if you have steam version on windows,  please follow this path (actually do it on your pc then copy the path once there

OS> X86 > STEAM > steamapps > common > American Truck Simulator

Note: if your needing euro truck simulator 2 you should follow the same path (on your pc) abut once you get to comme
common, select euro truck simulator 2,  let me know the results,  thanks.

Trucking in multiplayer and helping others where I can.

In game rules.
