Developer mode Allowed?

Hello,

 

Since i found out that you can use developer mode to teleport to cities, I decided to try it out on singleplayer.

 

I'm just wondering if this is allowed for multiplayer?

 

It's not mentioned in the rules (Source: http://forums.ets2mp.com/showthread.php?tid=10210), though it may come under hacking. I don't think it's classed as an artificial tool, as it is built into the game.

 

If it isn't, i'll disable it straight away. I haven't used it in multiplayer as I do not want a ban.

You're able to teleport your camera however pressing F9 (I think it is F9) to teleport your truck is disabled, it won't work anyway.

Would goto <city> work?

It doesn't move your truck itself, it only allows you to move the camera and requires you to move your truck by yourself. So no, shouldn't work.

It won't work. Some members which i know tried it already.

Yep just to clarify the teleport does not work because it was disabled. Pressing F9 will just disable your chat.

Yeah if that part wasnt disabled, we would have people tp'ing into roads, dropping from the skies, etc. I just use the dev mode for the free camera for screenshots xD

You could do it a bit cheetily but switching to singleplayer, teleporting and then switching back to multiplayer
