How to update Multiplayer Version?

Hi guys, rather new to the ETS 2, ETS 2 multi player scene and was wondering how to go about updating the ETS 2 multi player version? Is it a case of running the new .exe on top of the previous version or must it be removed before installation? Thanks in advance.

Some remove and install the new version but personally I just install the new version.

you can just download new version and it will install over the old version but if that doesn't work remove the mod and reinstall

When you launch the euro truck simulator game it will most likely state that your version is not up to date and you must download it from the website. In that case download it and then once it is done then you can just install it and then you will have an up to date game.  I hope i helped you out and best of luck!
