Help having problem with my mic

Hi for some reason my mic has become so static that i cant even hear my own voice but when i hold my pc case it goes but when i let go it comes back i have tried unplugging everything and pluggin it bag in but no luck and i really need to talk on teamspeak

Sounds like a loose connection somewhere mate is it plugged in at the front on the header or thro the rear on the mobo?

have had it on the front header before opened it up and 2 wires were touching causing static/heat etc

im using the Two Front conections on my case ill try plug it in behind

Hi, I have managed to fix the problem i just needed to ground my computer
