Hello @Denk172,

First of all, welcome to TruckersMP forum.

Nvidia

If you are using Nvidia, you can limit the frame rate by following the steps below:

If you are using Nvidia, I recommend limiting the frame rate in the driver settings. Otherwise, you are allowing the graphics card to create MORE frames, which causes the GPU to work more than it needs to.

Right-click on your desktop to open the Nvidia control panel, click 'Manage 3D Settings.' Under 'Select a task,' you have settings for 'Global settings' and a separate TAB for 'Program Settings' - this is the one you want.

Under the option 'Select a program to customize,' change it to 'Euro Truck Simulator 2.' You may need to add it by searching for it if necessary. Find out where you have it installed.

Set the maximum frame rate slightly above your monitor's default refresh rate and enable vertical sync. You can then save the settings and exit..

AMD

If you are using AMD, you can limit the frame rate by following the steps below:

1-Right-click on the desktop and go to "Radeon Settings."

2-Click on the "Gaming" tab at the top.

3-To access the Global Graphics settings, look for an option in the lower left corner that says "Global Settings" or "Go to Global Settings."

4-Look for an option called "Frame Rate Target Control" or a similar one, and enable it.

5-You'll need to know the refresh rate of your monitor. Once you know your monitor's refresh rate, set the frame rate in the Frame Rate Target Control to match it.

These settings will help prevent unnecessary GPU usage by capping the frame rate to match your monitor's refresh rate. You can then save the settings and exit.

I hope it helps.

Kind Regards,

Mr.Drexyy
