First of all, hello, I am Arda Enes, I have been playing this game for a long time. After resetting my computer, I started not being able to access my account. When I enter the game, it says the password is incorrect and forces me to play in offline mode. Please help me in this regard. I am waiting for your return.

Today, I'll be helping you with your issue and do my best for it

 

 

In case your password is incorrect, follow these procedures (options): 

 

In case some of the option does not work for you, please go to next one.

 

- Firstly, try to log-in to the website, if IT does not work, that means your password is incorrect as you mentioned above, maybe you probably wrote a bad one.

 

Follow this:

 

- open some notepad in the Windows and rewrite there your password, then ctrl+c and paste it into the launcher. 

 

- try to re-set TruckersMP Password by sending it to the email

 

- If nothing from posted solutions works for you, then you are required to contact the Support Team, that will help out with your password.

First of all, welcome to TruckersMP forum.

 

As the first thing, please ensure that you are using the correct Steam account which is indeed connected with your TruckersMP account. If you are unsure if you're using the correct Steam account, you can paste your Steam profile link HERE and you will get information about the TMP profile which is connected to your pasted steam account. You can also paste the link to your TruckersMP profile and you will get information about the connected Steam Account.

 

If you’re 100% sure about you’ve written the email address and password without any mistakes, please try the following:

 

1. First, open up a text editor of your choice (e.g. notepad, notepad++,...).

2. Then, write down the email address as well as the password.

3. After that, copy them (CTRL + C) one-by-one and paste in-game with using the CTRL + V combination.

It’s very likely that you can log in without any issues now.

 

If you're still facing the problem (this solution usually works!):

 

 

If you're still facing the issue, you should try to delete the Steam_api.dll file as it might be corrupted. To do so, please follow these instructions:

1. First, head over to the installation folder of Euro Truck Simulator 2 (or American Truck Simulator).

If you don't know how to get to the installation folder of the game on Steam, read the instructions in the following spoiler:

1. First, go to your Steam library and right-click on "Euro Truck Simulator 2" (or American Truck Simulator).

2. Then, select “Properties”.

3. After that, choose the third tab “Local Files”.

4. Finally, click on “Browse the local files”.

Now, you should be able to see and copy the game path (e.g. “C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2”).

2. Once you’re in the folder where your game files are located in, please delete the folder called "bin". 

3. After that, verify the game files.

If you’re not fully aware of how to do so, please open up the following spoiler and follow the given instructions:

1. First, go to your Steam library and right-click on “Euro Truck Simulator 2” (or American Truck Simulator).

2. Then, select on “Properties”.

3. After that, select the third tab called “Local Files”.

4. Finally, choose “Verify integrity of game files” and wait until the progression is done.

Once you’ve done all the steps, open up the TruckersMP launcher and try if you can finally login to your account.

You can use the following link https://truckersmp.com/support and you can explain your situation there and someone should be able to assist you from that point. It is always a good idea to write down any passwords or login information you might have for a website. Hope this information that I have provided you helps and good day

      You can try to retrieve your password, log in, and distinguish between upper and lower case letters you set.

You can reset your password in the account settings.

 

Or you could do a ticket about password reset.

Hello Arda Enes, your password to go online (In game) is the same password you have used to login to your Forum / Truckers MP account, if your still having issues, i recommend changing your password for a new one, you can do this by clicking forgotten password and you will receive an email from Truckers MP with instructions on how to change it.
