Game crashes when i want to play on a Promod server.

Wesleydude4

Question

I recently downloaded Promods for ETS2. I tested it on singleplayer and had no problems with it.

Then i wanted to try it on Multiplayer... everything went well untill I pressed the "Drive" button and after that my screen went completeley black and this popped up.error.png.5b46e557f89efd66dc82803536aa2f49.png

I did some research and tried to redownload the def. file without the heavy transport.

but it still keeps crashing.

Is there anything else i need to change?

Hi there @Wesleydude4,

First of all, congratulations on your first thread in the forum. Welcome aboard!

Please note, that you need to own all 'Map' DLCs for ETS2 on Steam, otherwise you won't be able to play ProMods (According to ProMods' own site).

(Sorry in advance if there are any translation issues.)

Kingly regards...

Hello there!

I did some research and then i found these solutions:

-For multiplayer, try to reinstall
https://truckersmp.com/knowledge-base/article/614

-Try "common solutions"
https://truckersmp.com/knowledge-base/article/148

Another player has this problem and he is saying that: ''Seems like the problem is solved by updating my graphics driver. So far haven't experienced any unusual crashes.''

Source:

https://www.promods.net/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=35179

If your problem didn't solve you can send a ticket for your problem: https://truckersmp.com/support/tickets

Kind regards

Good evening! ?

I hope you are well. Sometimes your .def file can cause many errors so it might be worth redownloading this (and with different settings perhaps) to see if that solves the problem. Sometimes these things can be temperamental so a few mins spent doing this might just be it.

Kindly,

Stubborn__
