A server that's like arcade but with collisions on.

There should be 2 servers:

server 1, with collisions on and speed limited to 90 kph,

server 2, with collisions on and no speed limiter, (and maybe ramming allowed?)

 

this should be added because there are 2 types of ets2 players:

player 1, drives the speed limit and doesn't crash

player 2, rams everything and drives 150 kmh

 

right now player 1 & player 2 plays on the same server because theres no server to fulfill player 2's needs. this causes player 1 to drive safely and player 2 to dangerously overtake player 1 because player 2 wants to drive fast.

 

Counter points:

Player 2 should just play on the arcade server then!

Euro truck Simulator 2 is not a racing game! its a simulator! trucks can't go that fast in real life

 

My response to the counter points:

point 1: Why even play on multiplayer if everyone is just a ghost? It's basically single player but without ai and 2 people playing. You can't interact with anyone, you can't crash into anyone, and in the end player 2 will just get bored and play on server 1.

point 2: Yeah, trucks can't go that fast irl, but not everyone likes to play the game like you play it. Some people think its fun to crash and maneuver around the roads at 150 kmh and see how fast they can get the job done, but some people like to play it realistically. And scs knows this so this is why they have the 90 kmh speed limit on default but if player 2 wants to play the game differently then they can.

 

 

Why should it be added?:

It will make both player 1, and player 2's experience better. All the player 2's will be on the second server and all the player one's will be on the first server. Player 1 will be able to play on multiplayer without getting rammed into all the time, and all the player 2's will be happy since they can ram into everyone and play the game the way they like to play it.
