Brake Set Up Help...

Question

Posted

Hello fellow truckers.

I have the G29 and of course it has a brake that has very little give unless you remove the insert in the pedal. Is there a setting in ATS and ETS2 that I can adjust the braking to stop quicker or to have the engine assist in breaking?

Thank you..

Hello @Vapor_OTR

Thank you for creating a topic!

To answer your question, there indeed is a way to adjust you truck settings so that that you can come to a halt much quicker.
The first way would be to turn up the braking intensity.
To turn this up follow the below listed steps:

Head to Options
GamePlay Options
> Scroll down to Truck Settings

Alternatively buy a Truck that has Retarded Transmission, as this will automatically begin braking once you let off the  gas.(Also worth noting you would need automatic retarder on)
You can turn on the Automatic retarder in the same menu as the Braking Intensity.

I have also provided some screenshots as to how these settings would look.
