Hi Yemo,
Although this guide contains the solution NeonLeon already stated, it contains additional steps for this specific type of error. So please ensure to follow them.
SpoilerMake sure you have the latest .Net Framework
Clean your temp files with CCleaner
Check your temp files path and make sure it's located at C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache
If you don't have "INetCache" folder make a new folder and name it "temp" and then open the Windows temp settings and choose the new path.
Ensure to let us know if you need additional help regarding these instructions.

Hi Denis,
Sad to hear the solutions have not worked so far. However, I will ensure to keep trying to help you solve your issue.
Could you please try loading this save game (by following the instructions on the forum thread) and then report back to us on whether this causes your game to freeze.
If the solution above does not work, then only proceed to this step:
Note: Ensure to run TruckersMP as adminstrator at all times.

Hi Denis Brogniart,
Since you stated you started a new profile and the crash still occured; I will ask you to look and follow the instructions linked below carefully. All credits go to ResTed who created the solution.

Hi roberto396g,
May I ask these two questions in order to help me understand your situation a little more:
1. Is the steam account / your alternative account - is it located on a different computer in which you are trying to play?
2. Does the other Steam account have ETS2 / ATS bought seperately?
-
Hi samsterminator,
Could you take a screenshot of your graphics settings page and post it here.
Possible solution:
Go in-game press F4 and select reset defaults.
More detailed solution:
1. Right click your desktop
2. Go to Display Settings
3. Select "Advanced Display Settings" (If needed - Make a note of the current resolution)
4. Choose the resolution 1280 X 720
5. Launch ETS2.
6. Go to the ETS2 settings and ensure the resolution is set to your default monitor settings (native resolution) (or reset default settings)
7. Exit ETS2
8. Now follow the same instructions to set your display resolution back to your original screen resolution via windows.
Try these two solutions for now and I will work on finding a more complex solution if this does not work. Please let us know regarding your outcome.

Hi,
Caravans are not allowed to be driven with trucks. You will automatically be kicked.
Ensure to cancel the caravan job and then reconnect to TruckersMP.
-
Hi ciccitti,
Just as Mega Trans Crystal explained, if your internet connection is slow you usually will be kicked due to high ping. The only way to get around this problem is either upgrading your current internet plan by contacting your provider, or requesting a better internet from another provider.
Out of interest, if you could run this test: http://www.speedtest.net/ and take a picture of your download and upload speeds only, it would be great to confirm if this is the issue.

Hi pinguin1212,
What has worked for my clients with the exact same problem in the past was changing your DNS server adress. Please also ensure to follow the additional solutions I have listed if this does not work:
Main Solution:Please ensure your anti virus software + windows firewall has given an exception to the TruckersMP launcher.
Ensure MSI Afterburner or Riva Tuner are not running when attempting to download the updates, since these two programs are known to cause conflicts with the launcher.
After following what was said above, run the launcher as admin, press F1 and download the updates again.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
If the above fails to work ^
Please use the Google DNS - 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4
Follow the instructions below:
> From your Control Panel in Windows, go to Network and Sharing Center
> Click on 'change adapter settings' as shown by this image: http://prntscr.com/fqn10u
> Right click the network you are connected on and select 'properties' as shown by this image: http://prntscr.com/fqn1de
> Select Internet Protocol Version 4... and select 'properties' as shown: http://prntscr.com/fqn1to
> Select 'Use the following DNS Server addresses and enter the Google DNS values (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 ) as shown by this image: https://prnt.sc/fqn28s - Press OK and restart your computer.
> After having restarted your computer, please go ahead and attempt to download the updates (ensure you run the launcher as administrator first).
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Additional solutions (Only to be tried if the above fails):
Try the following steps below,
> Uninstall the launcher
> Go to your documents folder and delete the ETS2MP folder
> Reinstall the launcher and attempt to download again
If the above fails again then:
> Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard
> Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)
> Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder.
> Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher"
> Re-download the launcher and install
> Open The Launcher with admin privileges and click "Install Available Updates"

Hi,
Usually when you have a disagreement with a desicion made by staff, the best place to get the best response and a finalised solution to your query is by submitting a feedback ticket: https://truckersmp.com/feedback/create
That's the best area for a question such as this, reason being you will receive a finalised desicion by upper staff rather than being left open ended by a response here.

Hi PepeZukas,
It would be even better if you could provide a screenshot of the error occuring, however for now please attempt these solutions:
Solution 1:
Reinstall TruckersMP -
Can you confirm with me you have followed these instructions below, in regards to ensuring you have selected the correct directory/install path upon installation of the launcher:
> Go to Steam Library
> Right click ETS2 / ATS
> Properties
> Local Files
> Browse Local Files - This location is your 'install path'
Solution 2:
Verify integrity of the game files using Steam:
> Go to Steam Library
> Right click ETS2
> Properties
> Local Files
> Verify integrity of game files
Solution 3:
Go to Documents
>Euro Truck Simulator 2
> Delete the config.cfg file and then launch the game again
Solution 4:
Ensure to run the TruckersMP launcher as an administrator (as well at ensuring to set the ETS2 shortcut to run as administrator via the compatibility settings) Right click, properties, compatibility, run this program as administrator.
Solution 5:
Run a system check following these instructions provided by ResTed: https://forum.truckersmp.com/index.php?/profile/495-интегра-rested/&status=38604&type=status
Try this for now, report back to us on how it goes.
I look forward to your reply.

Hi Peter,
Please could you try this solution:
1. Right click the volume icon on your taskbar: http://prntscr.com/lr5rjc
2. Click sounds and then go to the playback tab http://prntscr.com/lr5qoj
3. Right click speakers / the green ticked device and select properties: http://prntscr.com/lr5qfq
4. Go to the advanced tab. Then ensure the following settings in the image are set. Afterwards, press restore defaults. http://prntscr.com/lr5q12
5. Restart TruckersMP.

Hi,
Unfortunately external / third party mods / custom made skins are not supported by multiplayer and even if it did work; custom made skins will not be able to be seen by other players as it requires everybody to have the mod or skin installed.
Hope this clears up your query.
Best wishes.

Hi Nerk95f,
I can see from the second image you seem to have two LED's added onto your front grill of the vehicle.
Please click on it and ensure it is not a blue and red LED / a police accessory. http://prntscr.com/lqzvlt (Image for your guidance)
Make sure you update us with your outcome. Best of luck.

Hi Zipu,
It usually means you have been banned so many times in a consecutive manner within 1 year that an appeal will not be accepted to allow you to play online again if.
Take a read here if you are still not satisfied with the answer, the guide goes indepth to explain in detail of the process:
If you are still dissatisfied with an admins desicion you are welcome to contact feedback https://truckersmp.com/feedback (as specified in the guide above).
Also, please note there are other language discussion areas on the forums if you would like to receive support from your preferred language: https://forum.truckersmp.com/index.php?/forum/15-other-languages/

Hi,
I assume your question has some regards to lag either due to a network scenario or a performance situation.
Above were some fantastic solutions, so be sure to read Prototype's guide kindly posted by Kamer as well as being aware by the knowledge provided by Wentworth and Total EDM.
However, I understand it can be a little bit daunting to comprehend all of that information mentioned in the guide and deciding where to start is also a little tricky.
As a result, I will share some quick easy to follow tips you can carry out that will certainly give you a performance boost:
Solutions:
1. Right click windows task pane --> Click task manager ---> Head over to the processes tab ---> Find ets2.exe ---> Right click then go to priority and set it to high.
(You can also install Prio - A process priority saver that automatically does this for you after your first attempt : https://www.prnwatch.com/prio/ )
2. Putting your 'scaling' down in the graphics settings of ETS2 will help. Having 300 % / 400 % scaling is really not the best ideas in populated areas so dropping to 200 % - 100 % may be a wiser option. Yes your game will not look as nice, but it certainly will boost your FPS.
3. Another thing you can do is go to control panel ---> hardware and sounds ---> power options --> click on "high performance". (Note it uses more power but will help boost fps).
4. Try to "Unpark" your cores. - This definitely improved my system as well as others. Take a look here for the instructions + the application needed http://coderbag.com/Programming-C/Disable-CPU-Core-Parking-Utility (Already mentioned in Prototype's guide)
5. Reducing mirror quality / distance to medium or if really needed high. Don't go to ultra, it really reduces your FPS.
6. Grass density - Keep this on low (High takes a lot of FPS)
7. Reflections - Putting this on medium will save FPS, especially considering all of the players around you will add to the strain of the GPU to render the reflections from individual trucks.
One extra tip: Take a look at this guide by Nvidia Support: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3130/~/setting-power-management-mode-from-adaptive-to-maximum-performance
( Make sure to configure the GPU preferences on the program settings tab for Euro Truck Simulator 2 OR American Truck Simulator )
Let us know if it made a difference. Best of luck!

Hi Hype,
In addition to the fantastic solutions given above, in the past when I have had clients experience similair issues; I gave them the following solution which usually made their mouse cursor start working again. Try it out and let us know how it goes:
1. Right click your desktop
2. Go to Display Settings
3. Select "Advanced Display Settings" (If needed - Make a note of the current resolution)
4. Choose the resolution 1280 X 720
5. Launch ETS2.
6. If you can see video output go to the ETS2 settings and ensure the resolution is set to your default monitor settings (native resolution)

Regardless of what some individuals say, it is not worth attempting to contact support regarding username changes.
We only change usernames in certain circumstances, however in your case - you have changed your name by yourself. For this reason, we are expected to abide by the 1 month name change procedure / rule to ensure all players are treated fairly and the 1 month name change expiry period is met and therefore we will not be changing your name for you.
Apologies.
Are you now satisfied to an extent where we are able to close this thread, since you have a relevant set of answers?
-
Since you have not specified which fixes you have tried out, I will link the most successful / official fix for this error.
Be sure to update us on your situation after trying the steps from the guide.

OP claims to have solved the problem, topic closed.

You now have a relevant set of answers.
We usually do not allow forum threads such as complaining / questioning admin decisions to proceed, reason being it is not an efficient way of dealing with a problem and it does not offer you a direct and final decision to be made for your concern. For this reason, this topic will be closed.
If you are unhappy as to why the admin rejected the report and you think this was a wrong decision; please refer to consulting upper staff: https://truckersmp.com/feedback
I will move this topic to solved, since it is in some ways a genuine question and I hope other individuals with similar sorts of issues will follow up on what information I have given them, rather than directly complain on the forums.

Hi,
What you are essentially wanting to form is a "virtual trucking company". They come in all sorts of variations, either by purpose or size.
Either way, this is a fantastic service that I would recommend checking out to allow you to form your own virtual company - tracking your employees mileage, deliveries made and money earned and a lot more additional features.
I have used this in the past; alongside many other VTC owners I have had contact with: http://virtualtruckingmanager.com/ (VTM Live)
All instructions + additional support is available on the website above.
Best of luck and be sure to let us know of any further queries you may have.
