  1. SUGGESTION NAME: Auto-kick within cities for certain infringements (listed below)

SUGGESTION DESCRIPTION: If a player runs a red light 2 or 3 times in cities, perhaps an auto-kick (with possible auto-TP to a service area) would be warranted, with appropriate warnings each time before the actual kick. This could also apply to excessive speeding within city areas if the speeding is for durations longer than, say, 10 to 20 seconds. I would consider anything over 20km/hr over the limit as excessive.

    ANY EXAMPLE IMAGES: N/A

WHY SHOULD IT BE ADDED?: The sheer number of times a light I have been waiting at turns green and all seems clear. But then, a player comes hurtling through in excess of 20km/hr over the speed limit and runs a red light - straight into me. Often these players "f7" away immediately before there is a chance to see them and report them appropriately, even despite recording. This is made even more difficult if one is in FPV and the player TPs away before 3rdPV is activated.
This could potentially encourage more players to be more careful at least whilst in cities. While this would not eliminate bad driving/deliberate trolling, I think it could greatly reduce incidents like the one mentioned above.
I'd imagine even trolls getting bored with having to load back into a game repeatedly. If a server is full, this could potentially be even better, as I can't see too many of them wanting to keep trying to get back in for too long.

Well I already tried this one and it didn't work, fps did go up a bit but that was not the problem :P

I'm sorry this didn't solve the freezing issue for you, but I am glad to hear that it did indeed improve your overall game performance.
I've personally never had much of an issue with freezes such as this in this game. It has never frozen for more that the splittiest of split seconds (Is that a real term? Meh. It is now. lol).
Kid Fabi's suggestion looks very promising. Though, it kind of seems of a bit of a "sledgehammer for a nail" type of approach, but it should well and truly fix your problem.

do you already checked into your Tab list -> Settings -> Development Logging is it enabled or disabled?

Because of this one you can get some little Lags too, because just was trying it and disabled it so you

    reduce some little Lags.

I'd try Harley's suggestion first. Just mho.

Hey! @timykingmy Close background programs while playing ets2mp because when you trying to save game, hdd usage incrases %100 for a sec. That's the reason why fps drop/freezing generally.. Also you can try to close Anti-Aliasing. Good luck! ^_^

Cortex does this for you and is handy for those who aren't that "tech savvy".

  4. Other than turning down your video settings in-game, you could try doing a RAM cache cleanout before running the game.
You could also try using a game accelerator, like Razer Cortex (which comes with recording software as well).
Also make sure your graphics card drivers are up-to-date.
I'm sure there are other suggestions that might help, but that's all I can think of for now.

EDIT: Just thought of something else. Turn off all weather effects.

  5. It has been suggested to me on several occasions to consider making status updates rather than making a post. However, I do not seem to have an option to do it.
I assume it is meant to appear above or near the status updates that others have posted?
I've initially posted in this section because I am unsure if this is a bug or if it is just something that I have to enable.
If it is indeed something that I need to enable, where might I find that option? I have tried searching for it or any topics relating to this, but to no avail. :(

^ I always drive with my lights set on the first position (pressing L once) as some people have rain so I have it set to that so they can at least see me better. With this update it seems we’re now forced to drive around during the day with our lights fully on, that is not only stupid but it looks stupid.

It's not stupid at all. For safety's sake, IRL when I worked for FedEx and then UPS (y'know? The ones that put posties to absolute shame? :P ), I would drive with lights on at all times while driving - in Australia! I even began doing it with my own vehicle on weekends.
You'd be amazed mow much difference it makes in making you more visible and avoiding accidents because people just "didn't see you" even in the middle of a sunny day.

Remember the "M" in "All Good Kids Like Milk" (look it up on Google and you'll see the relevance).

yes i agree to this, i play on the EU servers but i live in asia, so this would be useful but i think having a standard skin on all trucks is boring, so maybe just standard chassis

You think you have problems? I live in Australia and play on EU servers...

Would destroy all nice paint Jobs.  If your computer is too Bad,  Dont even drive in high Populated areas.

...and I agree with this. Sometimes, if there are like 100+ people in one area and they're almost all using beacons, I take this advice and I quick travel somewhere else. If I'm on a job and have just been trolled or been in an accident and have to get towed to one of these areas, then I quit the job and quick travel somewhere else. It sucks, but we in this general part of the world cannot realistically expect the majority of players to possibly lose out because of us, due to distance or low-end PCs or a combination of both.

  9. I'm quite happy with the rule changes.
Like most people here, I'd say the rule tweak in regard to hacking is probably the best one. Kudos.
Very happy to see that the rules have lightened up considerably regarding insults, by the way. I am so glad that reason and logic has prevailed somewhat, as well as the understanding that we are all mere humans.... well, most of us - I'm made up entirely of cats. :P

  10. Most of my posts or comments have been me crying and moaning about one thing or another. This is not one of those occasions.
I have to hand it to you. Such a simple change could be a real game-changer (Bad-Dum-TSSS).
