In my opinion it should be possible. If people can play on the same server while some don't have the scandinavia DLC, the same should be possible with a map mod. They just see others driving through that barrier.

I understand your perspective, but there's already enough rammers. Implementing a no damage mod would just encourage more players to ram others. Also, if you can go trough highly populated areas without taking damage, what would you need the mod for? It would take away the realism to a certain extend if your truck couldn't take any damage. So it's a no from me.

SCS has already planned to add recovery trucks to the game. There's not ETA yet, but this suggestion would automatically be implemented into ETS2MP once the recovery truck has been added.

Maybe if you show them your skills in terms of coding, Shaolu, they could consider you for the developers team. You sound like you've got some real good potential and would like to improve certain things about this mod. These boys have put so much time and effort in the creation of this mod, that it would feel like giving it away for free if they would make it open source. You must understand their perspective, what they've reached by now if one of the most popular mods on Mod DB. Usually ETS2MP is around #50 out of 25.000 (we've reached #1 aswel), the example you've given (Planeshift) is #6064 out of 35.000.

Well, in that case, the kid may have made a good suggestion here. We should have the ability to adjust the TAB window, in order to see long nicknames. Not sure why he brought up buses at first, but we got it.

Oooh you mean if someone has a long name you can't see the entire name, but just a piece of it? Yes, now i understand. Isn't there a way to adjust the window? Like make it longer and wider?

Absolute NO. This will not work. 99% of the commands that you suggested are straight ripped off from SAMP RP. Closest thing that you will get to roleplay in ETS is creating a company, and using TS3 as your CB radio. It will not work. Hate to say it. As people said before that the cops will be restricted to admins, and admins only. And honestly how often do you see an admin on the streets? Honestly, the only time I've seen them is in a convoy, and maybe a few other times by them self. Adding a new model into the game will just create more lag. And as one stated before it is hard enough to get players to follow basic driving rules, adding rules to roleplay ontop of that is ridiculous. Let alone a lot of the users on Euro Truck doesn't even speak English. And you can't really get out of your car or anything either.
If you would like to roleplay, get a group of friends in a parking lot and use ** **.
I don't think the community is remotely close to do this. And it will not work.
Chill out. It's a suggestion. I agree with you, majority of the players here are too nubs to even understand the concept of RolePlay. But testing it on a small scale with people who do know how RP works, would might be quite interesting.
