I think that if you park your truck in a place outside dlc zones that you should be fine when sharing your profile, not 100% on that though.

I think it is a problem related to GTAV, a while ago someone else had the exact same issue with his xbox controller not being recognised by other games after playing GTA.

It could be that you don't have the latest version of ETS2 on steam (1.17.1s).

Try to go to your Steam library and then to your ETS2 properties, in there you then go to Betas and select "NONE - Opt out of all betas". http://prntscr.com/72x4dh

After you've done that go to downloads and let ETS2 update.

 

Another possibility is that your Steam profile is private in which case you have to set it to public.
