Mine used to as well. It got really bad on ETS2:MP to the point where I gave up wondering what was causing it and gave up playing. Then, American truck simulator came out and of course I had to play MP. Went fine for a week or so only to experience this problem. Today, I found out as to why and figured I post it here for anyone else having that problem (I don't think it's been posted yet)
So just to sum it up I used to drive along down the map and notice that my game would literally freeze (could range for 1 second to 7 seconds) even though my FPS said I was getting a solid 13 (I usually get 60FPS) I would un-freeze and carry on to the spot that I froze at (obviously that would cause players to glitch in side of me, hit me, etc.)
Simple fix:
- Load into ATS:MP/ETS2:MP
- Click on the settings tab
- In the general tab, tick off "Development Logging"
Vola, not a problem with FPS drop for freeze yet after I done that.

Haha yeah I don't expect it, just figured it would be a cool concept. But I mean with the amount of players on ATS:MP I feel as if it would be close to empty most of the time anywho.

People like me would like it "dull and grey" I love driving with players that actually follow the rules. I truly can't stand being around the ones that cause accidents because they just simply don't care or tailgating me, high beaming me, etc. It's a simulator not GTA, which is why I wish players would treat it more seriously online.

Yes lol. It don't take much to tick me off but I usually only report when I start to scream at the screen while staling out and messing up the gears in frustration trying to move off the road to PM the player
And I wonder why I smoke.

True I guess. Although I never bother to report unless someone really pisses me off. It's just too much trouble to edit and upload and then go messing around trying to find their profile URL. No thanks, not on my upload speeds lol

Well then we need more Admins obviously who are constantly spectating drivers. If that's even a thing. If not you should add spectating.

Suggestion Name: Option to join a more serious server.
Suggestion Description: This server will allow people to actually place right and not be trolled by people running red lights and ramming you.

Why should it be added?: It'd allow multiple users to "role play" without the people who think it's fun to disregard the rules of the road and create road blocks while ramming you. I would in fact spend all my time on this. -
More or less like a shared cockpit, just like FSX can have.

Suggestion Description: Allow someone to hop over in the passenger side with you as you drive the truck. Would allow for more role play with convoys (training new employee's) as well would it be fun for everyone, if you don't feel like driving but want to chat or you just want to take turns driving on a long haul.

Seems like every time I upgrade I'm forced to download that 500mb snow mod file again if I want to use it, else it won't work. Any way around this.
With my 3-5mbps download speed it proves to be a pain..

Have you activated some software which was not working recently?
Nope. Come to think of it I tried to run Assetto Corsa today with a non compatible mod and nothing opened so maybe heres a process running I don't know about but when again task manager is telling me different. Ill try another reboot in a bit and see if it changes anything.

Nothing besides Chrome is using up alot of CPU or Ram. Already checked lol and Chrome is closed when I play ETS

What are your PC specs? It could be that. Also, the bitrate could be the problem. If you do ETS2MP recordings only, i would suggest 2500KB/s.
It could possibly be an issue with your hard drive. Have you tried launching with DirectX and turning your graphics settings down as well? Could be worth a shot.
But I mean it never happen yesterday, or early this morning, or last month. Only today after a computer restart.

Jsut as the title says. Restarted my PC and started playing ETS2MP and this happens, a LOT It's to the point where I can't even bare to play it. I'm not the type of person that can just brush off freezes like that lol, low FPS yes but not that.
Audio is not synced to the video at all and I forgot to cut out a whopping 23 minutes of blank project haha silly me.

Your forum name is only for the forum; In general MP shows your Steam profile's name (you can't change it's colour) and avatar
About tags (I got no clue what exactly You've read, so I'll write down the basics about it)
Open MP's settings and this will pop out:
Write in or copy/paste your tag and chose colour (it has max 20-character length)

I mean, I've read on how to do this but it was a old post on a old forum and I wasn't sure if it still worked or not so I set my name to:

It was just showing like that on steam and on this forum, it never showed any color or such so now I'm wondering is that the same thing everyone else is seeing IN game or are they seeing color to my name tag.
Also I'm just guessing its my steam name everyone sees in game and not my forum name, correct right? lol

I'm having the same issue as well.
Make sure you uninstall ETS2mp THEN install the update. Thats how I fixed it!
