I bought the game because it simulates the real time truck driving which includes limited speed .
Fixed.
And yes, Trucks are limited to 90km/h in Real Life too

That could be happen.
At least i read somewhere that some guys said that the release of going east was announced a few hours before it got out.
But i doubt that it will come out this year.

Wouldn't say that it's unplayably(is that a word?) bad, but I do think that the Admins need to be more lenient in the punishments they hand out. Just today, I saw several people within the space of 5 mins banned permanently for driving the wrong way up a street. And someone else banned for parking on the grass at the Europort, but other people doing the same thing only get kicked. Needs to be more consitent punishments imo.
Maybe the ones who got perm bnanned did stuff already in the game, while the others had only done that or less than the others.
But that is something we can't know (and i don't know if the admins can see former kicks/bans of players somewhere).

When the devs are supporting Linux, the devs dont have Linux to test for now.
I somehow think that this would be the easiest problem to solve if they want to support linux.....since it is free and can be downloaded by everyone....

I think that the lag you mention is caused because your computer is loading and rendering a new truck on the map.
You mean with that the part of my text in which i say that it happens when a truck nears me?
Yeah, obviusly it is caused by the other truck when i say that there are lagspikes (with partial freezes which come from it) caused by it if it is 10 Meters ahead of me and driving onto me...but at that point the truck itself is visible far before that happens
But those still does not explain the longer lagging period which happens 1+ hours playing when no one else is arround

I meant on the normal road when there are just a few people around....or sometimes no one else, not in those crowded areas.
But if that has to do with that too...ok.
But then one could ask why did you guess raise the Playerlimit for EU1 from 3000 people to 5000.

Can it be that the ping/latency when approaching other players got worse with the 1.1 Update of the Mod?
I had it a few times that my game froze for 2-3 Seconds while someone else came from the front and the ping raised over 200 at the same time.
I also get some weired lags after approx 1 hour in which the game stutters for at least 10-20 seconds with a raise in the ping.
Someone else experienced that?

I hope i got the right area here. but i guess yes...otherwise i hope some Mod in here is so nice to move this topic to the appropriate area.
As the most people might have seen it already in the title of this thread, it seems that the commandline options for the game like -nointro etc. are not usable with the new Version of the MP Mod anymore.
That (maybe) causes trouble for those people who used some of those, like the nointro to skip the opening intros of the game (it is a bit annoying to skip that stuff manually) the occulus one for those who own a rift......or the (experimental) -64bit which starts the game with the 64bit.exe of the game, which might be helpful for some people with the mod too (since more RAM can be used).
So, is there a way to still use that stuff? (or will the ability come back in the mod?)
Already tried to put the stuff i use on the path of the mp exe, but than the game starts normal without the MP mod. -
Probably they are testing now, think it will be released later tonight.
If they are testing it now, what have they done the last weeks with it? ^^

No, not yet.
But 2-3 Weeks ago it was said that it will take 2-3 Weeks....but i personally would add 2-6 Weeks on that number...

They renamed that options 1-2 Months ago.
And before that it may was called don't update the game, but in fact it updated the games when you started the them, so they only renamed it to what it really does......which took them only a few years.....

Another update, how much fun we gotta wait another 3 weeks?
Maybe they push the update for the MP Mod back again to get it compatible for the next patch......

Yeh I drive drive underpowered trucks but I try to stay away from quarries!!
With the last patch it should have gotten better....most parts of the querry could be climbed with around 20km/h the last time i got something from there
Scania trucks have two set of sounds; default and V8 sounds...i also have big Kenwood sub-woofer so i guess it amplify my experience of driving
...just make sure that truck got V8 engine and try again.No Idea which engine it was, but i think it was the v8 one....and no, i do not intend to drive the scania again...don't like that thing.

V8 Scania - best sounding truck in game, all other trucks sounds like.....well....a diesel trucks lol but Scania sounds really angry
I drove one yesterday ingame and for some reason (no idea if it just sounds so) the engine was bearly hearable......the one of the new daf is louder,

If spam bot start to create steam accounts.. RIP internet.
That would probably be the same persons who steal accounts and try to phish with them other people.....so it is just a matter of time when that happens.....but i guess that would mostly happen on important sites whichuse the steam login with a lot of users who have much stuff in their inventory.
(at least in Europe)
