@Al3ksik I understand this. Just in general, let me list all requirements and then my expectations/opinions on them. Must be at least 16 years old; Can stay like that Must be registered on the TruckersMP website for at least 1 year; Reduce to 6 months Must be familiar with TruckersMP and its rules; Can stay like that Must be sufficiently proficient in written English; Can stay like that Must be able to accept constructive criticism; Can stay like that Must be eager to learn and want to progress your knowledge; Can stay like that Must be organised and adaptive; Can stay like that Must be resilient, active and flexible; Can stay like that Must be able to work within a team as well as on your own; Can stay like that Must have a forum and Discord account for internal communication; Can stay like that Must have no forum/Discord bans or punishments within the last 12 months; Reduce to 3 or 6 months Must have no more than 3 game server bans in the last 24 months; Reduce to 12 months Must have good behaviour across our communication channels; Can stay like that Must have good communication skills.; Can stay like that So, as you can see, I am just trying to get the ban timers reduced, as they are too long. To be honest, if I were a high-ranking staff member who created these requirements, I would also probably put them like that because I don't want any "idiots" to apply to my staff team just to give me a bad reputation. Now, from my view/member view: I have been banned once, not even intentionally for inappropriately overtaking somebody, and now I can't apply as a Game Moderator for a whole year. And I'm going to repeat myself now so this can be seen as an overview for anybody tuning into this suggestion by summarizing this: - Not trying to completely change the system - Not trying to completely remove the requirements - Aware that there are Online/Forum reports available, but there would be a more efficient flow and actively handling reports by hiring more Game Moderators - Online/Forum reports take around 1-7 days to be reviewed -> Time for rule breaker to do even more without being banned during this time when lucky - Not all Game Moderators are online at the same time, meaning that around 5-15 Game Moderators spread across 5000 players is not enough. - That doesn't mean that anybody should be accepted and hired - There's still a training phase - If there's a feeling that they can't properly do their job, kick them out - Example: It's not the best example, but let's say you need to be the best of the best to become a police officer. Many people apply, but only a few get picked. This wouldn't really decrease the crime rate.. The more, the better. Since they all still undergo the training. If they don't fit the requirements during the training for the job, then they'll get removed.

@Al3ksik Thanks for the feedback, although as said before: There are about 100 Game Moderators that could spread across 5000 players.. But then, obviously not all 100 are online the whole time, which means fewer reports can be handled... The more Game Moderators we have, the more reports can be handled. For example, if we have 75 Game Moderators from the UK and 25 from Germany, and then not all of them will be online all the time or at night, then who would moderate the high amount of players from the US? And yes, I know reporting via forums is a thing, but why make people waste time on collecting evidence, cropping it, and uploading it if we could just get more reports handled in real-time? If people are blocking the road for a long time and no moderator is coming to any reports, there's nothing we can do.. ^ Like somebody in this thread said before, it takes 1–7 days for the report to be reviewed. Just to clarify again, I do not want the requirements to be completely removed, just reduced. Imagine if you got banned for, idk let's say, Inappropriate Overtaking ONCE.. This means that you'll lose the ability to apply for a whole year. One mistake you didn't even do intentionally makes you be banned from applying for a year...

Suggestion Name: Reducing Application Requirements for Report/Game Moderators Suggestion Description: There should be a mass wave of Report- and Game Moderators because these areas are understaffed. However, there are around 115 Game Moderators, which is a lot. But when you look at it, at least 90/100 active reports are just being "ignored" because it'll be rare that all 115 Game Moderators will be in-game to staff. I would assume that the average amount is between 3-7 active staff members online. But when you look down at it there are over 3000+ players online daily and 3-10 game moderators are not enough. Again 90/100 reports will just be "ignored" due to a lack of staff members. Why it should be added: To make the server flow more efficient and to get more reports being dealt with rather than them just being "ignored" Please read this before answering. I feel like this needs to be picked up again: https://forum.truckersmp.com/index.php?/topic/117045-reducing-application-requirements-for-reportgame-moderators/

Good idea, now add this on top of my actual suggestion and then we got it

Thanks.. This still doesn't mean that ANYBODY should be hired and put into training... Just because you cut requirements in half doesn't mean it will lose much staffing quality... If they won't listen properly, kick them out of the training phase, or else.. The more the better. Theres around 100 Game Moderators right now. It would be way better to have 200 or even 300..?
-
@Sunstrider as I said, cut the requirements in half? To be honest i don‘t know what‘s not being understood when I say that?
-
@Sunstriderall i am talking about is the applications. Not the training.
-
@NoahTheFurry well, if you want my suggestion on it: cut them in half. Except like the bans

@Tim [NL] I know and understand that, but then more people need to be hired within the time zones where staff is required. -> Of course, it would be stupid to just hire anybody who fits, of course, you need to watch out on what time zones are required. I thought about this, and I know that it would be better to lower the requirements and hire more people. It's not the best example but let's say you need to be the best of the best to become a police officer. Many people apply, but only a few get picked. This wouldn't really decrease the crime rate.. The more, the better. This does not mean that the requirements should be fully removed or completely reduced to the minimum. So basically just lower them a bit and hire more people.

@Martin_v8 @Ka_Tray @Tim [NL] Thanks for the feedback, I understand that and I am not saying that 100 Game / Report Moderators should be in-game and staffing 24/7. I am trying to say that if we say 100 more get hired, we could probably have almost twice the efficiency as before --> double the number of reports that get claimed and handled. And I mean I think we can all agree... I would assume that at least 5-7 thousand different people play on TMP daily and just 115 alone on that is not enough: plus, not all 115 will be online, and so on. That's why I would say to lower the requirements and hire more Game/Report Moderators.
-
@Martin_v8 Thank you for replying, I am aware of the online report function, although this is the problem. There are too many reports and people can not keep up with reporting every single person if you get what I mean.
