ATSMP freezes in menu

BoucheDag posted a question in Unsolved Topics

When I start the multiplayer, after about 8 seconds in the game it freezes on me. Windows doesn't report anything, the screen that was previously visible just stays on the screen and I can't do anything. The only way to get out of it is CTRL-ALT-DEL. If I need to update some logs please tell me which.
