      Even my phone gets the sound louder with the G430..

      well it might be cuz the soundcard in the laptop is just terribad + its gaming headset not made for music but for terribad mic quality and boosted base (however some logitech gaming headsets have got a good mic but 99% off all gaming headsets are just shite when it comes to sound quality) :P
