Screen shifted 1/3rd of the way down at 1080P on a 1440P Display
BlueChinchilla replied to BlueChinchilla's question in Unsolved Topics
So launching in Safe Mode appears to work. Just tried in Direct X11 mode and that worked too. How come OpenGL doesn't though? Ideally I would like to use OpenGL because of the minimizing bug with Direct X11. Are there anything I should be aware of when using Safe mode? -
I'm having an issue launching ETS2 at 1080P on my 1440P monitor. Whenever I do that, everything on screen is shifted about 1/3 of the way down leaving a giant empty void on top. The funny part is that Steam's FPS counter remains in the stop right hand corner. There are no display position adjustments on this Samsung monitor so I cannot do anything from there. Has anyone else encountered such issues and have any ideas on how to resolve this? The reason I have to run at 1080P is because my GPU is not powerful enough to game at native 1440P, it's an old fermi card. I got the monitor mainly for productivity reasons and figured I could just continue to game at 1080P with no problems.

How to load saves when doing World of Trucks Contracts
BlueChinchilla posted a question in Unsolved Topics
I usually save when I'm at a gas station or a truck stop and I want to know how can I load back to those saves after I get flipped by people driving recklessly? It's frustrating to be driving and waiting in traffic for hours just for someone to ram into you head on and flipping you over. Every time I try to load back to those saves, the game just throws me back on my side where the incident occurred. And this happens with every single save I try to load. So I have to resort to forfeiting my job by requesting a tow, wasting the hours I've put into it. Is there anyway to fix this? Or is this just another limitation to World of Trucks contracts? -
When it crashes, does it give you a "fatal error".
