look at the date of the post
  2. gwait's post in Multiplayer Setup was marked as the answer
Restart the installer and untick "ATS Multiplayer" during the process. It will only install the version of the mod for the game you own!
  3. gwait's post in About the "no job" issue (I know how to fix it but...) was marked as the answer
Yes, there are multiple ways if you own a truck. That includes teleporting to the nearest service, resting or teleporting to one of your garages.
  4. gwait's post in Why did I get banned 3 days? was marked as the answer
First three offence ban lengths are up to the admin. Fourth offence is 1 month, fifth offence is 3 months and sixth offence is Permanent. That's of course if all of these offences are committed within the last 12 months.

Join the Multiplayer server, click TAB and then click mouse2 to activate the cursor and select the settings button (cogwheel) and enter something for "Player tag" and then select the colour that you want it to be. After that, hit Apply and the tag will be applied to your name.
  8. gwait's post in Game freezes are random moments was marked as the answer
I've read in one of the other threads that you should join Multiplayer, click TAB, activate the cursor and select the Options icon (cogwheel) and untick 'Development Logging' and the freezes should stop. Give this a try and report back if you're still experiencing it.

Do you have your own truck?
If you do not have your own truck, then that's the issue. What you're doing is selecting a job whilst you're OFFLINE and then once the job is selected it connects you to the server and you go ONLINE. Offline and Online times are different, therefore your job time makes you automatically late. What you need to do is play Singleplayer until you have your own truck and then come back into Multiplayer, this way you'll be able to select a job whilst you are ONLINE and your job won't mess up. Hope you can understand.
  10. gwait's post in I'm allways starting at my garage instead of where i left off. was marked as the answer
uset g_force_economy_reset "0" into console after you use it
If that's not the case, then disable your mods
  11. gwait's post in Having to start with an already damaged load was marked as the answer
I'd advise to manually save your game before selecting a job. This way, if you get a cargo that is damaged, you can just load your save and then pick up another job where the cargo is not damaged.
When you save, I'd advise to save in area such as non-collision in case you load on top of another player and damage them/yourself.

  13. gwait's post in Config file? was marked as the answer
Verify your game cache by right clicking on Euro Truck Simulator 2 in your Steam library, select Local Files tab and click verify integrity and then launch the game
Although just launching the game should bring the file back, unless there's some sort of error?
  14. gwait's post in Cant load any profile was marked as the answer
    1) Go to your Steam library
    2) Right click Euro Truck Simulator 2 and select Properties
    3) Click betas tab and select "temporary_1_18_01"
    4) Let update download and launch multiplayer
report back if there are any problems after that
  15. gwait's post in How can my friend and i get the same Jobs? was marked as the answer
Share your save with your friend so you have the same skills which will mean you should have similar jobs too.
There's no other way, because you probably have different skills than him. If you have more points set to long distance, then your trips will be longer than someone who has less points set to long distance.
