A rule to allow 1-2 duplicate(s) of any accessory part zone with anything attached to them (maybe a beacon exception) with up to 5 total duplicates sounds easy enough to implement and still allows for full multi-bar setups. It's not like even without savemodding you can make some hideous all lights all the time trucks or become the lord of beacons

@[TAL] The_Wifi_Guy_10Are you sure you are looking at the config.cfg that is in the ETS2 or ATS folder, not the one inside the profiles? If there isn't one, you can just add the line at the end and see if that works.

The Eco driving perk doesn't work with realistic fuel consumption turned on, so check for that.

The classic FH16, mainly because you can get it with an engine that can make up for power lost by driving in automatic only at early levels. Otherwise, a 9 L Iveco is the best.

I like the HCT, and various physics changes to make the trucks feel heavier. I also wonder if the short 1 axle trailer's body will be used with rigid body trucks, or as prep for such a feature.

Sure, no more sound mods can be annoying, but I'm guessing it caused more trouble than it was worth for an already stretched thin staff team.

I expect a lot of custom trailers, since it's no longer a secret magic only known by a few. As to doubles, I doubt hybrid trailer lengths would be allowed as in ATS. It is a big shame the full aero kits aren't available on your own trailer but it's still a beta.

I think swap bodies are certainly in the future, with the current trailer additions being a step on the way there.

Hooray, b-doubles proper in game, can't wait to try it all out.
Also, this isn't included in the article but the new MAN truck had been revealed in game to be out sometime soon (although I doubt 1.32 is it)

Possible as part of a highly hinted at economy overhaul with rigids, but I think it's more of re-configuring depots to have cargo and a destination that would make sense for them rather than it is now where logistics depots have heavy equipment

I think the C-D road might not be changed in the first Germany update, but the highway made a proper 3 lane with no terminating lanes and proper signs was pretty high on my wishlist. No more getting caught out on an exit ramp

is the NCZ extended into the junction as well? Honestly, that alone could had solved most of the issues with people getting stuck in the turn by being caught out by just how big of a turning radius their land yacht sleeper has.

I can see the road being redirected into duisburg directly instead of going around the city to make room for a larger city and way overdue rebuild of the area. In addition, the highway will most certainly be replaced with a shiny new 2+2 interchange block in the tri-city area.

Replacing the data path with another vehicle addon accessory (flag mounting points, for example) is the easiest way to remove the mirror. The other method would involve removing everything you pasted there, removing the reference to it in the truck's configuration (on top, where the plate is), and then editing the references so no number is missing, and the total count is correct.

The trailer looks great, although having real brands in game totally feels like I'm using mods ha ha

You may notice improved smoothness, although getting an ultrawide monitor to improve your field of view is certainly nice.

other things not listed on blog:
Special transit route upgrades are in the beta, along with 2 new paint jobs.
Mighty Griffin parts are added to the new Scanias, and at least a new chassis cover for the older 2012 scanias that uses the body color.
The trailer_customization.sii is also in this beta, as seen from the ATS open beta. It currently does nothing but seems to point to at the least trailer selection being revamped and perhaps trailer ownership too.

@[ATL] DALNOBOY UA sure, although the contents of the file aren't that interesting. Compared to other scene files, it's got way less options so it's most likely a very early work in progress.

Road trains will only be an ATS thing with a higher trailer limit, ETS2 at most is getting B-Triples unless it also gets 5 trailer combos (don't.) Also, B-Triples are honestly easier to drive than HCT as it turns better in tight areas. Now, road trains are fun but impossible to load without mods to move loading zones in prefabs due to the extreme length
